TennisMenace 156 Posted December 19, 2016 Okay fellows. Congrats if you are in or close to being in. I'm in the latter category depending on tonight. I will start with two questions. Let's keep it going. 1. I would like to know who would Arizona's Peterson cover? Lockett, Baldwin, or other? I didn't think he would cover the slot guy so I'm thinking Baldwin may be a good play this week. Not sure though. 2. What do you think of Ted Ginn's chances for success against an improving Falcons defense at home (Carolina)?
TennisMenace 156 Posted December 20, 2016 Okay, now that we got by that semi final match (won by 1+) let's move on. Who is the WR to own in Seattle? The one Peterson is not covering. Which one is that?
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted December 20, 2016 I like Inman if available
TennisMenace 156 Posted December 20, 2016 I like Inman if available I wanted to pick him up last week but I gave SAMMY Watkins one more chance. He is available so maybe I can grab him. One small problem though- weather in Cleveland in Late December could be BRUTAL.
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted December 20, 2016 I will need to keep an eye on that, have Inman as flex now but may switch to Steve Smith if weather concern Thanks
Frozenbeernuts 1,883 Posted December 20, 2016 Inman is on my waiver wire. I do have a lot of options so I'm not sure I want to risk it with him. AJ Green Tyler Lockett Doug Baldwin Devante Adams Tyrell Williams Spencer Ware/carlos Hyde And then I can pick up Inman. My only locked in starter is OBJ. You definitely want the Seattle WR not being covered by Peterson. Find out who that is.

TennisMenace 156 Posted December 20, 2016 Cameron Meredith is a possibility. With Jeffrey back maybe Norman takes Jeffrey and leaves the bum to cover Meredith.
Frozenbeernuts 1,883 Posted December 20, 2016 Cameron Meredith is a possibility. With Jeffrey back maybe Norman takes Jeffrey and leaves the bum to cover Meredith. Norman doesn't usually follow a receiver. So that leads me to believe that the Bears may try to get Jeffery away from Norman.
TennisMenace 156 Posted December 20, 2016 Norman doesn't usually follow a receiver. So that leads me to believe that the Bears may try to get Jeffery away from Norman. We will have to follow this closely. Clearly Wash secondary other than Norman are not good.
Frozenbeernuts 1,883 Posted December 20, 2016 We will have to follow this closely. Clearly Wash secondary other than Norman are not good. Vreeland is decent, but Meredith and Jeffery both tower over him. Whoever isn't covered by Norman is going to have a good game. Damn so many decisions. Who the hell does Norman cover and who the hell does Peterson cover?

Who the hell does Norman cover and who the hell does Peterson cover? Norman is always on the offenses right side. I don't believe he covers slot guy. I'm not sure if Jeffrey lines up on one side. Probably not.
FantasyRetard 49 Posted December 20, 2016 In Championship and need serious advice: QB- Bortles, Wentz, Seimian? RB- Bell and Howard (of course) WR- D.Thomas and Nuk TE- Ertz FLEX- R. Mathews or Snead? thoughts?
weepaws 3,006 Posted December 20, 2016 Wentz Bell Thomas Mathews I think it's a very nice day today , that's my thoughts. Hey Merry Christmas and bring home a title.
FantasyRetard 49 Posted December 20, 2016 Wentz Bell Thomas Mathews I think it's a very nice day today , that's my thoughts. Hey Merry Christmas and bring home a title. If Jenkins sits for the Giants, Wentz becomes appealing, if Sproles is playing, Mathews isn't appealing. Tough decisions. Thanks for the reply.
weepaws 3,006 Posted December 20, 2016 That's what I was thinking about Wentz. Sorry I thought it was R Mathews and not J Matthews. Thanks for your reply. Merry Christmas.

Mr Neil 63 Posted December 21, 2016 I will need to keep an eye on that, have Inman as flex now but may switch to Steve Smith if weather concern Thanks I'm benching smiff. He has had single digits last couple games and Pitt D is solid and he had 8 pts last meeting
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted December 21, 2016 I'm benching smiff. He has had single digits last couple games and Pitt D is solid and he had 8 pts last meeting I have claims in for Dion Lewis and Meredith as well, but as of now rolling with Inman. Smith benched. I am playing a bit of keepaway from my championship opponent but I may consider all of those for the flex spot.

FantasyRetard 49 Posted December 21, 2016 That's what I was thinking about Wentz. Sorry I thought it was R Mathews and not J Matthews. Thanks for your reply. Merry Christmas. Sorry, Ryan Mathews. I have to wonder about his production if Sproles is active.
handbanana 47 Posted December 21, 2016 My championship finals team: Mariota Evans DT Freeman Gurley (ugh) Ware Griffin or Fiedorowitz Chargers Crosby Benching: Coleman, D Martin, Cooper, T Hill I could pick up Stafford at Dallas but that offense is dink and dunk and his finger has me worried, just like Carr's prolly just roll with Mariota but he's been soooo bad lately I would live to roll with another option. Wentz is available, as is Flacco but those don't exactly give me the warm fuzzies either. Ugh

Wentz is available, as is Flacco but those don't exactly give me the warm fuzzies either. Ugh Don't overthink Mariota. Mariota has faced two top tier defenses the past couple weeks. Even Brady didn't do anything against Denver. Both teams exposed the run. Carr and Matt Ryan put up mediocre numbers against the Cheifs too. Mariota put up 2 TDs and 270 yards against Jax week 8. Wentz, Flacco and Stafford (finger) seem unappealing.
Hype_Train252 4 Posted December 21, 2016 My finals team is: QB: Tyrod Taylor RB: LeSean McCoy RB: Bilal Powell WR: Taylor Gabriel WR: Malcolm Mitchell TE: Tyler Eifert K: Prater DEF: Chargers Flex options: Meredith, Dion Lewis, Dixon, Ted Ginn, Amari Pooper (no pun intended). Not sure who to play in my flex this week. Any suggestions? My team survived a crucible this year and still managed to make it. Won my last 2 playoff games on MNF. Week 14: Dixon and Mitchell (24 pts) and Week 15: Ted Ginn (12 pts). Hope Prater kills it this week!!!
TennisMenace 156 Posted December 21, 2016 I really like Meredith a lot since BRkley has taken over. Josh Norman should not be covering him and the Skins secondary is horrible.
Hype_Train252 4 Posted December 21, 2016 I really like Meredith a lot since BRkley has taken over. Josh Norman should not be covering him and the Skins secondary is horrible. Meredith has been playing mostly slot (71%) since Barkley took over. Norman doesn't defend slot WRs. He at times shadows outside WRs. Probably will face Alshon most of the time. Frozenbeernuts 1,883 Posted December 21, 2016 I honestly don't know that any amount of insight and advice is going to help with my receiver decisions. They are just flat out tough, and everyone probably thinks something different. Just a really rough week

TennisMenace 156 Posted December 21, 2016 My two cents FWIW: 1. Leave out Baldwin and Tyrell 2. Don't know who everyone is playing, but Lockett and Adams for sure.
wezvidz 2 Posted December 22, 2016 Luckily, this has been my easiest lineup decisions of the playoffs. Won upsets in round 1 and 2, now a 10 point finals favorite. 1/2ppr QB Rodgers WR Julio (hopefully) WR D. Adams RB Freeman RB Kelley W/TE A. Jefferey W/TE/RB Gore K Lutz D San Diego Bench Hill (no vs Denver/Maclin back) Gabriel (only if Julio out again) Britt (possible fill in instead of Gabriel but doubtful) Mitchell (unprediable workload after inconsistent weeks) Dixon (unprediactble vs Freeman/Gore/Kelley) Prater If Julio is a full go, I got nothing to ponder. Just win.
