nobody 2,461 Posted December 23, 2018 Chargers -3.5 seems trappy. Kenneth Dixon o/u on rushing yards is 38.5. Hmmm.
nobody 2,461 Posted December 23, 2018 Wow they have most rushing yards between Melvin Gordon and Gus Edwards at Gordon +7.

JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Chargers this season tend to start slow and get stronger as the game wears on. The difference maker could be the first two Ravens offensive series. If they get touchdowns in both, the Ravens can win. Chargers defense hopefully can kill 3 drives with either big sacks or offensive holding penalties to put the Ravens in 3rd and long, although Lamar Jackson has surprisingly converted some 3rd and longs with his arm and/or leg. The Chargers outscored the Chiefs 22-7 at the end of the game and outscored the Steelers 26-7 at the end of the game.
JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 What I really like is that Derwin James is such a good tackler even in the open field that he should clean up a lot of runs.
ZeroTolerance 583 Posted December 23, 2018 Edwards on my bench, of course.

JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Tirico goes "Ravens are dominating the game". LOL Last I checked, you don't win by having the most rushing yards, or most passing yards, you win by most points. A LOT of elite defenses are bend-but-dont-break and will give up tons of yards but few points.
jrokh 596 Posted December 23, 2018 Ravens are dominating but it's still so early it doesn't carry much weight yet
ZeroTolerance 583 Posted December 23, 2018 Brees did his best to ruin my season, Gordon cleaning up the leftovers.
JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Ravens are dominating but it's still so early it doesn't carry much weight yet That's not how the NFL works. A bend-but-dont-break defense can give the false impression that the opponent is dominating but as long as they keep them out of the end zone, its working according to plan. That's why you can't just go by yards.
jrokh 596 Posted December 23, 2018 Chargers might win but they got their butts handed to them in the first half. Sad but true
JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Chargers set up very well. They play much better in the second half, only down by 3. Looks good.
jrokh 596 Posted December 23, 2018 If they are playing possum they should win an oscar for that performance.
JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Chargers might win but they got their butts handed to them in the first half. Sad but true When the Ravens got 1st and goal, they couldn't punch it in and only got 3 in both trips. That's not getting your butt handed to you. Those are missed opportunities that will come back to haunt them most likely.

Those are missed opportunities that will come back to haunt them most likely. The Chargers had 72 total yards, 72! and they had the ball first. Again they can have a good second half and win comfortably, but they got the snot beat out of them for a half, it happens.
stonewall 647 Posted December 23, 2018 Are they even using Gordon Yep.....but not as a workhorse thus far. Got spelled by Justin Jackson quite a bit in 1st half.

JustinCharge 2,397 Posted December 23, 2018 Wow. Well, that's a game where you just throw the tape out. What can you learn from a fumble return for a td.

Quickolas1 80 Posted December 23, 2018 Wow. Well, that's a game where you just throw the tape out. What can you learn from a fumble return for a td. That the Ravens D >>> Chargers D. That the Chargers disappoint like usual. That Antonio Gates probably just fumbled away the Chargers' chance at going to the Super Bowl.
uwmalcolm 73 Posted December 23, 2018 Wow. Well, that's a game where you just throw the tape out. What can you learn from a fumble return for a td. Id say learn to hang onto the ball maybe? And stop throwing picks too while youre at it.
