She catches a wahoo and a barracuda in this vid. It is my ambition to catch a wahoo. I lost one off of Ocean City, MD. We were fishing for tuna and it bit thru the line. Need a steel leader for them.

I have managed to catch half a wahoo a few years ago nightime jigging for tuna.

 

The problem around here is the barracuda and sharks. Once you get a fish on you have to get it to the boat before it gets eaten.

caught plenty out of nj with mono when tuna fishing. just have to get lucky

I fished off of nj for tuna. the mate brought out a package of clam meat. I thought he had lost his mind, and ask him what was up. He said that the trawlers had been dredging up clams for 150 year off of nj and they clean them on board. they throw the shells over the side with scraps, and the tuna eat it. He baited me up with clam, and I caught a 96 pound Blue Fin.

yes. i just asked because it common ( well not as much in recent years) for the scallopers to have bluefin behind their boats and is common for people to get scallop guts from them and use them to bait up the tuna. not clam boats as much.

Believe it or not, it's more of her personality that gets me with her. Not that she's not hot,(she is) but her voice and commentary are great.
