She’s not a medical doctor, she has a PhD in nanomedicine. She didn’t/doesn’t even have a very big following, unlike Campbell who was making over a million bucks a year from YouTube. He’s an interesting story of the evolution to grifting, you probably saw people post his videos if you followed the Covid thread. Older English dude that would read studies and underline stuff. In the beginning of Covid he was definitely not on the side of the minimizers. The shift started around when ivermectin got popular and he realized there were a lot of ivermectin stans that would watch his videos, then later realized that the Venn Diagram of ivermectin stans and anticovidvaxxers was basically a circle. For some reason he developed somewhat of a cult following. Campbell was the subject of many of Oliver’s videos. Despite reading actual studies, he would often grossly misinterpret them, and she even caught him lying several times by showing older videos of him saying the complete opposite. His cult followers were not happy and would troll the comments. They likely filed mass reports to YouTube resulting in her channel’s shutdown. I would place a large wager that she did not actually break any rules. She has appealed and I would expect her to win, but it should have never happened in the first place. They wanted to block your access to hospitals and care. They stopped doctors from prescribing medicine that would have helped. The authoritarian push scared me way more than COVID ever did.
