Meh.  Like I said at the onset, it's a play on words.  If he never steps for on Texas A&M campus and never applies there, but has a degree from Texas A&M, does that mean he has a fake degree?  As far as I'm concerned, the school on the degree is where you went to college... the campus you were on, is irrelevant.  If his degree program results in a Texas A&M, then he went there.

I went to community college before transferring to Oakland University. When people asked me where I was going I said Oakland because that's where my degree was from and what they cared about. Nobody would give a sh1t if I took Econ 101 at the community college. 

Sad they are jumping all over this kid and won't leave him alone. It's no surprise though. Liberals have very low moral charater.

yes, you said that, but it is not the case. blinn college is not affiliated with A&M. he would not be getting anything from A&M. Now after 2 yrs, he could try to transfer into A&M, and may get in then. but it is not the case now, in any way. it is not a play on words.

No one at all ever has a problem with someone saying they went to whatever school, when they had to originally to Comm College for 2 yrs. And nobody would care at all if he just said he was going to Blinn. To be honest, I forgot about Texas A&M until I moved to Texas.  A&M pretty much copied my undergrad schools ring, and I was getting hounded on whether or not I was an Aggie.  I didn’t know what the hell they were talking about.

then I went to A&M for grad school, not because it’s a great school or anything, it’s just that they don’t require a gmat or anything for veterans.
