I had him read it to all of the kids during Christmas a couple years ago. He made it through a couple pages with a straight face, however he managed to finish it. None of the kids knew why it was funny. By BeachTime on Mar 05, 2019 My 89 year old mother purchased this book for my daughter since my precious angel adores beavers for their cute bucky teeth, playful nature, and flappy tails. I never took the time to look at the book before my daughter brought it to class to share for reading time, she's in second grade. She attends Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Catholic School. She started reading it aloud to the class as they were sitting in a circle when Sister Agnes suddenly stood up and shouted "Enough of this filth! Why did you bring such dirty pornography into school!!? My sweet little angel had no idea what she was reading pertained to a woman's sacred private part's pubic hair. I got a call from the Headmaster and was asked to come pick up my daughter immediately. When I arrived I was lectured for 30 minutes and ordered to do 43 Hail Mary's and repent for the sin of introducing Satan's text into the classroom, to which they added a 5 day suspension from school for my innocent child. This book should be burned and the people who wrote it crucified like our lord and savior Jesus Christ!!!
