I am not, nor was I ever a Trump guy. He was the best choice and did a decent job as POTUS.

Whenever I would hear family say "Trump is a terrible president" I would ask them why. I never heard an answer that had to do with actually being president. Was always about his tweets or his personality. Infuriating.

Trump is not a good person so disliking him is natural, there is nothing wrong with that of course.  So they naturally dislike him.

The disconnect is this notion that their likeability is somehow a measure of performance. I have read journalists assert that he should not be president because he is not a good enough person, and as this "bad" person the office is too far above him.  Now lets be fair, we all want a good person in that role.....the hope being a good person will make good choices.

But in the instance of Trump we clearly see what it took me years to fully appreciate from being in the Marines.......YOU DO NOT NEED TO LIKE YOUR LEADER.    He can be a darn good leader, and still someone you soundly dislike.

Too many people are too easily manipulated by political theatre.....

Who knows what other crazy crap is going on in the White House?   Father Trump needs an exorcism and full bleaching before he returns.  You have to think American Versailles, Mar A Lago, will serve as the seat of power for at least all of 2025.

Housing values are good, markets are doing well, inflation has lowered. Our economy has been decent to very good all things considered. It’s a hard message to communicate that we are doing better than almost every other nation coming out of a global shutdown. Biden certainly isn’t good at telling people much.
