Two days later, someone gets killed with that gun. They go to this guys house and he says it's locked away, but finds out it's gone. Prove he knew it was missing. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. Good luck with that. Now, I'm all in favor of a massive fine and a loss of license, but criminal liability? No, I'm not going there.
