IGotWorms 4,057 Posted July 29, 2021 I believe it could lose a bit of its flavor but not really “go bad.” Worst case scenario it just might not taste as good
Fireballer 2,639 Posted July 29, 2021 I've eaten and cooked in fire houses for 27 years. I've eaten plenty of things older than 9 years old. Bon apetit

However, the seasoning might not be as potent. I’ve never had any that lasted that long cause I use it for a lot of stuff when I cook and grill out. Especially on steaks. shorepatrol 1,870 Posted July 29, 2021 Throw it in the garbage and get Pappy's https://www.pappysfinefoods.com/ I partied with the owner last weekend. Great owner, great seasoning.
Cruzer 1,995 Posted July 29, 2021 Na. If using on BBQ, just do like they do in KC and Georgia - hide it in sauce.

BeenHereBefore 1,447 Posted July 29, 2021 I have tons of spices and use the ones a fewer years old and they work out good. Like other posters mentioned won't hurt you just might lack some potency.

I was cooking last night and saw that and thus this thread. It's been in the trash, since last night. Upon further investigation, it did look kinda humid clumpy. I bet he lost his "fortune", which prolly amounted to 60K on the legal fees for his son who began producing 3D printed guns on that over-priced printer he was talking about getting him.
