handbanana 47 Posted October 1, 2021 Is he catching his passes out of the backfield or lined up out wide as a WR with Davis in at RB? Thanks in advance!
easilyscan 715 Posted October 1, 2021 Was wondering the same thing. Found this from week 3 against the giants. https://www.nfl.com/games/falcons-at-giants-2021-reg-3?active-tab=watch Disregard the 1st video that's just a little over a minute long. The 2nd one is about 2:20 Cordarrelle Patterson highlight reel. Haven't checked the videos from weeks 1 &
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted October 4, 2021 No, he’s running routes out there and catching real passes.
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 4, 2021 I don’t know, but his stat line reads 3 tds today.
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted October 7, 2021 Good highlights here. No idea why he wasn't out there for the final 2 minutes. That's just poor coaching. https://youtu.be/tnhYOQ5iC5Y He just manhandled the CB on the 3rd TD.

How highly do you value him ROS? Would you trade Pollard to the Zeke owner as part of a deal for C-Patt? My other RBs are Jones, Gibson, Sermon, Carter and Perine. Half-PPR. Currently starting just 2 RBs at the moment with Chase in my flex spot lately (I have McLaurin and Lamb as well). Pollard has a lot of injury upside but limited utility without that injury occurring.
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 8, 2021 All I see is a lot of potential for a lot of ff points this weekend with both Gage and the over valued Ridley not playing.

DrG 102 Posted October 8, 2021 I think the real reason he wasn’t in anyone’s top 200 has to do with his production history, he was backing up Mike Davis and that the Falcons were supposed to have other weapons. So in 2021, he’s produced like Darren Sproles 2.0. This Sunday I would expect we’d see more 2 back backfields and possibly more 2 TE sets. Both Davis and Henry might benefit from C/Pat and Pitts garnering extra defensive attention with no Ridley and Gage.
jrokh 596 Posted October 8, 2021 London games produce some strange results, Usually the Jags steamrolling someone because they are more used to it. I would be nervous starting someone in this game, but Cpat is hot so hard to sit…
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 9, 2021 I think it’s even tougher to sit the Falcons best playmaker, and even tougher to sit him with both starting wr out.

I have thought about this a lot lately, and the best comp I can think of is 2018 James White. Now I'm not predicting an RB6 finish, but I think this (minus the ridiculous TD rate) is sustainable. I would try to move Gibson personally. I don't like the sounds of him trying to play through a stress fracture in his shin.

Once again, I think of the stock market. The day the last bearish analyst that covers a skyrocketing stock turns bullish, is probably the day to sell. You just know now that everyone is on the Cpat train, he's going to derail sometime soon. As a CP owner, I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 10, 2021 Darn it man, can’t you keep that negative attitude to yourself. As a CP owner.

polecatt 471 Posted October 10, 2021 He's off to a promising start so far this week. 7 carries and 3 catches for 68 total yards, mid 2nd qtr. Sounds like he's a regular cog in their offense
AxeElf 787 Posted October 10, 2021 He has been their offense. A faction is already forming to rename the team the Atlanta Pattersons. He's charmed. Defenses part magically in front of him.

weepaws 3,006 Posted October 11, 2021 Ppr Patterson had a good game, non M Davis also had a good game.
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted October 26, 2021 Did anyone else notice Mike Davis limped off the field in the final minute of the game. Looks like a leg injury.
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 26, 2021 I think he’s having a horrible season , he might as we’ll blame it on an injury.
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted October 26, 2021 CP might get a good dose of touches this weekend. The team just look so much more alive with CP in the backfield.
weepaws 3,006 Posted October 26, 2021 CP and Pitts right now our the Falcons best playmakers. Davis as been a bust.
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted November 15, 2021 Sprained Ankle?
easilyscan 715 Posted November 15, 2021 Let's hope it's not the dreaded 'high ankle sprain' Since he's been such a huge part of their offense this year, I'm thinking it makes the patriots D look a lot better Thursday night.

DrG 102 Posted November 16, 2021 Gallman got more touches. He could get the nod.
weepaws 3,006 Posted November 16, 2021 Now that’s true I just looked at the stats and Gallman was the next up. Even more confusing.
yadwick 2 Posted November 16, 2021 I wonder if Gallman got the nod because they were getting blown out? Either way Davis is on the bench.
