IMO call of duty has sucked the last three or four iterations.  World at war was by far the best one.

2017 version -WWII was the last one I liked. Hoping this one is good since it is set in the same time era.

I've only played the campaign (or started to) when the servers online were down or there was a massive update and I needed my COD fix. 

I play every day still.

I don’t think so. I played briefly last year with Ed, and a few other guys but didn’t care for the game that much and quit. I’m hoping this version is like WWII. I master prestiged in that one

Cold War is pretty good. They need to have other options for battle royal modes besides Warzone. I actually liked Blackout on Black Ops 4

This one might be fun. 

Lots of maps - playing single player private match to try to learn them. They are standard 3-lane maps which is good. The one they did a couple years ago with completely open maps was a campground.

15 years ago Call of Duty World at War came out...that was a great campaign.  I played a few after that and none were as good. Even without the online aspect, it was worth the money just for the campaign.  

I'll download it tonight...cross platform you say, finally me and my xbox will get a chance to mix it up with the rest of the geek club.

We played last year and I was the only one on xbox. The other geeks were all on PS

I  have Cold War and played with Sux and Ed one time. Also after 15 years playing these games and the cross platform cheating now don't think I'm getting this one and to mention all the updates and taking up half my hard drive for one game. I'll pass for now unless I hear good things.

Last campaign I played that I liked was MW2 and quit them after Black Opps 1. I'm starting to get back into the Resident Evil games lately.

This here is my only exposure to the game besides billboards in Time Square. My question is does this game have the stupid flying and mega jumps ? I’m thinking about getting back into it but that crap turned me off and haven’t played since.

I've been playing Insurgency: Sandstorm for the last few weeks. That game is tough. It's basically HC DOM without friendly fire. You phags should pick it up. It's like $45. 

Ed is gonna quit this one in two weeks like he did the last time we did this. Sux is gonna master prestige again in about a month. 

I might pick it up if you guys are gonna keep the GEEK tag alive and well.
