Okay so bought a 2005 Monte Carlo a few months back

Got a thing in the mail today for recall on the Ignition . Haven't had problems with it ?

If you didn't have any problem purchasing it because of the outstanding recall, I wouldn't worry about it.

I've been getting recall notices for my 2012 Ford escape for 5 years now. The Ford dealership in town sucks so I'm not even going to bother.

They could very well Fcuk up something that's working fine now.

They get you in with the recall, and then “find” a bunch of other stuff that needs to be done. $5k later, you’ll be walking with a limp for the rest of your life. And if you don’t do the $5k worth of work, they’ll be hoping you decide to sell it to them instead. The car is fast and a major chic magnet. They want the car.
