The dow is not the gauge to be used. The S&P is a far better gauge and under Trump it is still performed better as you can see below, even with the now 8.2% gain in 2024. https://www.axios.com/2024/01/01/biden-trump-stock-market-performance

PG ended down 1.19% & KMB 1.75% The Nikkei 225 was down 12.40% To match that, the Dow would've been down 5000 points instead of 1000 Now that's annihilation. Yeah, these initial shock wave days are rarely the end of the turbulence. Perilous to ever try to call a bottom or predict more losses, but the issues that caused this fear aren't going away tomorrow.

NASDAQ futures currently down 184 points. Revenues for the previous 4 quarters were up 101% - 205% - 265% & 262% YOY Even Nvidia can't keep up that rate of growth forever. easilyscan 716 Posted September 13 Word of the day: Exculpation: Noun: The act of freeing from guilt or blame. Forgiveness/Pardon Logged into my Fidelity account the other day and saw I had 3 proxies to vote. Two of the 3 companies had an article related to Exculpation. 2. Approval of an amendment to the Company's Certificate of Incorporation to provide for officer exculpation. Of course both companies wanted me to vote in favor. If you own individual stocks, and any of them have an article similar to this, make sure to vote against it.
