gun free zone sign didnt work?

Nope. Nor did any pointless gun law such as background checks, magazine size limits, 3 day wait period, etc.  As unbelievable as it seems, meaningless gun laws don't significantly reduce gun violence.

Perhaps a ban on commercial firearm sales might help. Works for other first world countries.

There were 199 deaths in the US from mass shootings in 2022. France had 158.  Norway had 69.  Look, 3D printed guns will make gun laws moot anyway.

2022 isn't over yet, right?

Also, its pretty funny hearing liberals call to ban guns again, after cheering Ukraine which suddenly found a need to arm its citizens with guns.  Bit too late though.

Yeah. If they knew he was white the headlines would be:

WHITE Person at Large for Shooting

Prolly cuz there's multiple suspects. Some of whom are prolly illegal. All of whom used firearms illegally. Doesn't fit the false narrative of rampant "gun violence."

What kind of violence is a mass shooting, if not gun violence?

It's not even funny anymore. It's downright troublesome.

One reporter the other day asked biden if what he said in a speech could have negative circumstances. And he read verbatim to biden what biden said on three different times, and the first thing out of biden's mouth was. "I didn't say that." And then he realized how stupid that sounded and he he wasn't going to get away with that approach so be simply backtracked on all of it.

nasty pelosi doesn't follow her own orders, doesn't wear a mask at a salon and promptly tells the country she was set up by the owner and that puts the salon out of business.

newsome doesn't follow his own mask orders many times.

creepy joe pulls his mask down to cough in public.

oac says her life was in danger when she was a mile away from selfie fest. And she said she needed therapy afterword because of PTSD

Beetlejuice lightfoot in Chicago defunded police and has her own 10 person or so police detail following her around.

Oh, and there's this classic take from another retard:

All these democratic retards and more need to be gone.

People are violent, guns aren't. The term "gun violence" is intentionally used to divert your attention from the actual problem. It's a people problem not a gun problem.

Just a coincidence that upwards of 80% of all murders are committed by firearm?

No, they were committed by bad people. Less than .01% of the guns in this country are used in a murder.

More people are killed with fists and feet every year than are killed with guns.

An inanimate object cannot be violent. It must be used by a violent person to commit violence.

Bad people who overwhelmingly chose guns as their weapon of choice. ;)

Can't ban guns now that the left weaponized protests.

OK, since we're shifting goal posts, how many of those murders were committed with legally owned handguns by nonviolent individuals?

Doesn't matter if a 1000 people a day die from guns.  As soon as the government let protestors start burning down businesses as a political tool, the use case for personal gun ownership was set in concrete.

mdc has the mentality of a liberal. It's the gun's fault.

He would rather see a rise in other types of murders.

Etc.

That logic is obviously ridiculous.

Grenades don't help in protecting yourself or your home. Neither do bombs.

See how not ridiculous that is?

I’m shifting goal posts? You just made a nonsense claim.

Im not anti gun ownership and I don’t know what % of homicides are committed by legal vs illegal gun owners. I would guess the % is very low. That doesn’t change the fact that the US has an epidemic of gun violence and our lax gun laws are part of the reason.

Peaceful people can enjoy all of those without incident.

I don't care about the stupid semantic argument.  Guns enable people to kill other people efficiently.  If guns didn't exist the ability to kill people would be diminished.

That all is completely moot.  Government told law enforcement to stand down while people had their personal property destroyed.  If that is what they want to do, they are forcing people to defend their own property and people need guns for that.  In fact, they need more powerful weapons than what we have now.

That's a fair argument. I still don't think it's worth it, considering every other first world country doesn't need guns to protect their homes.  But at least it's logical.

The "guns aren't violent" argument for keeping them legal is just ridiculous.

In the US we absolutely do need guns to protect our property.  We allow people to burn down our businesses in the name of social justice.

I wasn't a proponent of the 2nd amendment until they pulled that shìt.  Now I believe everyone not only should have a gun, but needs an arsenal.

How about a compromise. We get rid of democrat "leaders".

The twenty cities in the United States with the highest murder rates (murders per 100,000 people) are:

  1. St. Louis, MO (69.4) - Democrat Mayor
  2. Baltimore, MD (51.1) - Democrat Mayor
  3. New Orleans, LA (40.6) - Democrat Mayor
  4. Detroit, MI (39.7) - Democrat Mayor
  5. Cleveland, OH (33.7) - Democrat Mayor
  6. Las Vegas, NV (31.4) - Democrat Mayor
  7. Kansas City, MO (31.2) - Democrat Mayor
  8. Memphis, TN (27.1) - Democrat Mayor
  9. Newark, NJ (25.6) - Democrat Mayor
  10. Chicago, IL (24) - Democrat Mayor
  11. Cincinnati, OH (23.8) - Democrat Mayor
  12. Philadelphia, PA (20.2) - Democrat Mayor
  13. Milwaukee, WI (20.0) - Democrat Mayor
  14. Tulsa, OK (18.6) - Republican Mayor - :shocking:
  15. Pittsburgh, PA (18.4) - Democrat Mayor
  16. Indianapolis, IN (17.7) - Democrat Mayor
  17. Louisville, KY (17.5) - Democrat Mayor
  18. Oakland, CA (17.1) - Democrat Mayor
  19. Washington D.C. (17.0) - Democrat Mayor
  20. Atlanta, GA (16.7) - Democrat Mayor
