I looked up the claim from Matt Wallace, which he narrowed down to “child killed in a mass school shooting.”  It’s not clear how he’s defining “mass school shooting” but it would have to be at least 3 deaths other than the shooter to have any slim chance of being true, as according to Wikipedia, prior to the Georgia shooting, the only other such incident in the last 2 calendar years was Nashville (which TBH seems to be less frequent than in years past).  

I’m guessing Wallace would include the Perry Iowa shooting but for one it would not meet that definition, and it was not confirmed that the shooter was trans.

NEW: CNN quietly changes their "transgender" reporting on the Georgia school sh**ter Colt Gray.

CNN's initial report said that Gray "expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people."

CNN is now saying that Gray "expressed frustration that transgender people were being accepted in society."

Here is the initial report vs. the current one:

Original wording: "The account referenced Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary School sh**ter, and in separate posts shared a desire to target an elementary school and expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people."

New wording: "The account referenced Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary School sh**ter, and in separate posts shared a desire to target an elementary school and expressed frustration that transgender people were being accepted in society."

Colt's father previously suggested during an interview that his son was gay while explaining to officers why he was bullied at school.

There’s some evidence he may have possibly been gay based on his dad’s quotes, but even that wasn’t saying he WAS gay (which would be better evidence), just that kids called him gay (which is common).    Quotes from neighbors, classmates, or other family members would be evidence as well and there have been some of those but none saying anything about being gay.

Remember that most of this MAGA crowd believe that all LGBTQ people are mentally ill, so labeling him gay (even if there no proof of that) puts him in the same category presumably because a "normal" non-gay person wouldn't commit such a heinous act like shooting school kids.

I’d guess it’s about 60/40 that think that, with the other 40 having made comments (such as some on here) like “the L’s and G’s don’t want the T’s in their group,” although no idea how true that actually is.

Why didn’t the school immediately go into lockdown when Gray wasn’t found?

 

JUST IN: The mother of Apalachee school sh**ter Colt Gray called the school on the morning of the sh**ting, warning them of an "extreme emergency."

According to WaPo who obtained text messages, the mother appeared to have advanced warning of what was happening.

"I was the one that notified the school counselor at the high school," a text message from Marcee Gray to her sister read.

"I told them it was an extreme emergency and for them to go immediately and find [my son] to check on him."

A call log shows that Marcee Gray had a 10-minute phone call with the school just 30 minutes before the tragedy unfolded.

"A counselor told Gray during the call that her son had been talking about a school sh**ting that morning," the WaPo reported.

The school then looked for Gray but there was confusion between Gray and another student with a similar name.

The administrator left the classroom after neither student was present
