Part of me wishes kids didn't have access to the entire internet until they are 18. Growing up I had a "computer lab" and Oregon Trail was the only thing we could "enjoy" on a floppy disc. I didn't have a cell phone until my senior year. Buying him the gun was insanely stupid, but there is some evidence the dad may have actually cared about the kid and I believe the worst I’ve read of him being accused of prior to the shooting was yelling. Can’t find it now but I thought one of the quotes was like “he abused them…well never physically.” And if he did then why did she let Colt live with him? The difference now is that it never ends because everyone is connected 24/7. Years ago you would go home after school and get a break from it, unless you had a crappy family as well.
