Disrespecting the country is embarrassing, and Megan Rapinoe is insufferable, making the team hard to embrace. Rapinoe was a reserve this year, hopefully age catches up to her and we'll not see her again. Props to Alex Morgan, Lindsey Horan, Julie Ertz for not giving in to pressure. They deserve better teammates and coaches.

Not surprised.  I saw some commercial or hype video or something awhile back where they were doing the usual false bravado thing that women athletes seem to think they need to do sometimes.  Even in the 30 seconds or so that I saw, you could see how uncomfortable whoever it was talking about how they were going to win.

I remember thinking at the time, "she looks so uncomfortable acting confident."
