BuschWack 59 Posted August 30, 2023 Picked up Eagles D but with changes in personnel, may take a few weeks to gel. Having Patriots on the road doesn't feel like a cakewalk. Maybe I'm overthinking O'Brien's return as the OC. None the less, looking at alternatives for Week 1. TIER 1 no-brainers aren't available... Commanders vs ARI Ravens vs HOU BUT JAGS @ IND was staring me in the face... made the switch. IND facing lots of noise with the JT stuff. Expect 2-3 turnovers from AR and other as they try and keep pace. Who you got?
GobbleDog 919 Posted August 31, 2023 I'm also a D streamer. And you took the wind out of my sails naming the two I'm targeting. 1) Baltimore at home against HOU's rookie 2) Jags who had a top 10 D last year now on the road against IND's rookie and no JT. Guess I didn't add much to this thread. Free bump.
polecatt 474 Posted August 31, 2023 Ravens! I have them and the Bengals, who play the at the Browns. Not a terrible situation either. The Ravens should be better though
SexyRexy 60 Posted August 31, 2023 Impossible to say who is a streaming defense week 1 tbh. Need a few weeks to see what is what. I say play the defense that you think has the most talent.
GobbleDog 919 Posted August 31, 2023 If Ravens and Jags are gone, next on my list are: Redskins at home against Joshua Dobbs (Ari) Vikings at home against Baker Mayfield (Tb)
makindollaz 51 Posted August 31, 2023 The 3 I’m streaming in my $ leagues are all mentioned. Washington, Baltimore & Minnesota.
Jaydee 1 Posted August 31, 2023 I have the Ravens and Eagles and starting the Ravens this week.

The Eagles are supposed to be really good and the Ravens have a great Week 1. But ya might wanna drop Ravens after week 1 and replace with a waiver wire hopeful. Besides, Ravens at Cinci week 2.

weepaws 3,062 Posted August 31, 2023 Ravens Redskins Eagles Jags Niners Seahawks Saints. Those are my targets for week one.
weepaws 3,062 Posted September 1, 2023 With the horrible news about mr Kupp today, the Seahawks are going to move up my list, I draft the defense slot second to last, so in a 14 team league most of those others I like above the Seahawks will be gone, and of course there are those ff drafters that need to have warm and fuzzy feeling after they draft two defenses . But if Kupp can’t play or is limited, the rams offense will be stuck in reverse.

Just like Chubb is the main cog in Brown's offense, as is Kupp to the Rams. Seahawk D makes sense week 1. They finished 11th last year and Pete Carrol's D's usually finish top 15.
