He’s focking with me. I don’t  think he likes you. Don’t take it so serious. As if New England/ Red Sox fans weren’t insufferable a while ago. We’re all diks when we’re on top. It’s part of the fun.

I could give a rats ass if he likes me.  But I'm also not one, not to call people out on bs.  I think I'm pretty tame compared to the bs we used to endure with the brady/ pats fans garbage the last couple decades.  Humility is a good character trait.

Bragging/talking about the chefs is completely understandable. They are going for a 3 peat. Incessantly talking about the suck-bag Royals is insufferable.

In 1 thread, d0uche.  And they were in it all season long.   Their starting rotation was one of the best in baseball.   If you can't see that, you don't know Jack squat about baseball.

And another prime example of you saying sh1t just to say sh1t that didn't work was how the central teams were only good because they were beating up on the white Sox.   Yet three made it to the alds.  So just move on to your next failed narrative.

Finally, fair warning but that rotation remains pretty much intact next year and they will have money to invest in glaring holes they had on the offense next year.   So I'm already pumped for 2025

I like that Cleveland team. Tough. If they had Bieber they would still be playing.

So the AL playoffs were a complete waste of time...  I wonder if the NL will follow suit tonight in game six?

6 games is a waste of time?

Plus...that was a great AL series. Yankees are just too good.

Go sit down

When the #1 seed makes it to the title game/series in any sport, it’s a waste of time…. Doesn’t matter how good the series is or isn’t…

So if the Liberty win tonight over the Lynx, that will have been a waste of time as well, though the series has been a great one…

So in case you haven’t noticed, I am not a fan of chalk getting to the finals…

Yeah it could be considered weird, but I have always liked the upsets for as long as I can remember…

Judge should change his name to Aaron DP Judge. Thank god for the Yankees the Indians have no idea how to pitch to Stanton or Soto - Pathetic coaching

I crashed before the end.  But caught the GS on twitter this morning.

First walk off slam in WS history?  That surprised me

Asssholes comparing this to 1988. Yeah, no. Cortes is no Eckersley and these Yankees aren’t near those A’s. The Dodgers were the big underdog then, they’re the favorite here. Idiots  Just saying things.

At least they don’t start extra innings with a runner on second…. One of the most stupid rules than Manfred and company added…. Made sense in 2020, but not the other years…

When it went extras I thought I’m glad they didn’t decide to do that put a runner on second bs in the post season. Why not just have a pitch hit and run competition ? Manfred is an idiot.

Oh well. The Yankees  benefitted from a weak AL this year. Boone blew game one and that was pretty much it.  The Dodgers were just better.

Such a shame to see it end due to some bad baseball.

On to next year. Hope my Tigers get to compete again

why qualify a successful run with a lament of other teams?  The Yankees were a good team, especially offensively.  Their pitching was a bit suspect and when it came down to it they fell flat, but a World Series run is something that the majority of fans didn't realize this year.  You could really find flaws in just about any team this year, but I think the Guardians, Tigers, Royals and Orioles all should be proud of what they accomplished this year, rather than thumb their noses and feel they were only successful because other teams sucked.

However, it's a new day and we're all tied again

The Yankees had a .552 winning pct against teams not in the AL. Central. Not impressive. At all. Like I said weeks ago, flawed team. And they put those flaws on display in the WS. Good news for the rest of the AL, no one will be held accountable. They never are.

This is welcome news.  I just figured he would go sign with the Yankess or someone and rake in a big haul.

The big upshot of the Michael Wacha deal: Kansas City keeps together its starting rotation of Cole Ragans, Seth Lugo and Wacha. And Wacha nearly doubles his career earnings while staying in a place he thrived last year. Kansas City is already out and spending, as it did last winter, when the Royals turned from a 56-win mess into an 86-win playoff team. Wacha's deal with the Royals will pay him $18 million in 2025, $18 million in 2026 and $14 million in 2027, plus $4 million in easily reachable incentives. The club option, which is for $14 million and includes a $1 million buyout, also includes the same incentives. Wacha was likely to receive a qualifying offer from Kansas City, which would have dampened his FA market.

Nice to see an ownership group willing to spend money in a small market
