A jury ordered Rudy Giuliani to pay nearly $150 million to two Georgia election workers for the harm caused by defamatory statements he made about them following the 2020 election.

Absurd? The main reason the verdicts were large is because Rudy refused to offer any defense, but went in front of the cameras and repeated his lies (he did so again today). Outside the court he promised to show all the evidence they would exonerate him. Inside the court he refused to testify.
