I consider Connecticut part of New York. It seems to have that mindset, especially when it comes to sports teams. They're more NYC than they are Boston.

Makes sense...most of my experience with CT is southern (Groton/New London area) in the late '80s to mid '90s. It was a definite NY sports team vibe.
