'This could be the most important project I have ever worked on,' actor, writer and producer tells Fox News Digital of new kids TV series

Known for the past few years for his wholesome book readings for kids in public libraries across America, actor, producer and author Kirk Cameron now has a new project he's announced on Monday morning, Feb. 19.

"Parents and grandparents are sickened and tired of their children being attacked by the woke wolves of Hollywood," Cameron told Fox News Digital this weekend, ahead of the announcement. 

"That’s why I’m continuing to work with Brave Books to dive further into the world of children’s entertainment."

Cameron and Brave are putting out an "innovative live-action children's TV show" called "Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk," the team announced.

It will combine "the timeless moral teachings of 'Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood' with modern energy, hilarious dialogue, animated stories and surprise guest stars" – for "a captivating experience for children and parents alike," according to a press release.

Cameron also told Fox News Digital, "It’s not just time to take back our libraries and literature. It’s time to take back every area of culture that these animals have devoured." 

He said, "Good families are looking for entertainment they can trust – stories that teach children biblically based moral values." 

So "supporting ‘Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk’ is another step forward in creating the culture we want for our future generations."

Cameron was foolish with this statement.  He should've just kept quiet on the initiative and let things play out.  Now that he says his network will be anti-woke, he'll have a very hard time getting actors and actresses.  Anyone who does work on Cameron's network will be black balled from anything in Hollywood.

Maybe so, but you got to start somewhere if you want to start a revolution. You can't just try to hide it.

Going against hollywood in the tv/movie industry is a revolution in that world. Just my opinion.

I know why he did it... I'm just saying that him saying why was foolish.  He's limiting the networks ability to get known talent and drive interest.  He's also basically pigeonholing the talent he gets to either only work on shows on his network or trash the network in order to get other work in the industry.

Man conservatives sure do hate seeing anyone on tv or in the movies other than straight, white people.

These things impact people IRL not at all.   TV and movies have been NOTHING but straight white people since there were tv and movies.  If there's over representation of other groups no so what?  What's the harm?

I noticed there was zero conservative outrage when tv and movies were ONLY straight and white.
