I was 8 and 6 last year (playoffs). Where did we do the league the 1st year? I don't see 2022

Didn't we use Yahoo the first year?

I was going to take Mahommes with my next pick, even though he was still a bit down the board, but then POOF he disappeared.

i just couldn't quite keep up with Twinsdad last year.

2022 I suppose I came in 4th but does horsenuts really count? Plus I still had Dawson Knox to go in that Damar Hamlin game -_-

My draft analysis - 8th spot - General Idea - Wr still premium position get a few good ones, Rb is pretty thin get 2, Qb & Te are deep so I will likely wait. I am thinking 4 Wr & 3 Rb thru 7 is a possibility.

1st - Jamaar Chase - this pick seemed kind of obvious, whoever Amon Ra, Jamaar, Jefferson, AJ fell, that's who I was taking.

2nd - Derrick Henry - Surprised by the RB run at the 1/2 turn. I figured I would be picking between Kyren, Pacheco, but they got scooped, so it was Henry. Rwhite, Kamara, Mixon, Cook, Jacobs were other options.

3rd - Deebo - A lot more surprises, thought Evans and Pittman would be available here. Seems a lot of variance in WR rankings. fftoday has Deebo at 10 and Pittman at like 25. Nabers, DJ Moore, Waddle, Devonta, Kupp(I think people are overrating him this year) were the other options. I could have gone Rb here with Swift or Jacobs but figured enough would come back after the Rb run at the 1/2 turn.

4th - Kenneth Walker jr. - I was ok with this as I think he was the last guarantee at the position. It helped that Hauk Tua backed rd 3 Allen up with rd 4 Mahomes. Bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off.

5 - Zay Flowers - As expected, a lot of Wr were picked leaving marginal choices. McLaurin, Watson, Ridley, Dell, Amari went right after. I think I went with Zay with some bye week consideration. McLaurin and Cooper lost the coin flip.

6 - Chris Godwin - Debated Rb here with Montgomery, Conner, and Zamir. Went Godwin as I thought he was the last quality at the position.

7 - Jake Ferguson - With my basic plan, thought I would get him or Njoku. Dak was picked just before. If he was there, I would have went that way and hoped Ferguson would make it around. This was a bit earlier than expected due to the Te run in rds 5&6. I was good with it as I consider Jake to be equal with Kittle, Pitts, Engram, Njoku.

8 - Caleb Williams - 12th Qb taken. Daniels, Tua, Goff next Qbs taken. also debated Courtland Sutton. Kind of a why not pick, but I think he will be good enough.

9 - Austin Ekeler - Rb is very thin at this point, debated Allegier. We'll see with Ekeler.

10 - Trevor Lawrence - Wanted to back up Caleb, and this was kind of the plan anyway. Wait on Qb, grab 2 good options. I could have waited, Stafford went 2 rds later, could be equal or better.

11 - Gus Edwards - Lead back with Harbaugh, upside.

12 - Mike Williams - If he and Arod stay healthy...

13 - Harrison Butker - lager snagged Rashid Shaheed just before, so went with a high end K. 2nd K taken after Justin Tucker.

14 - JaLynn Polk - Just a fill as a Pats homer.

15 - Chiefs - thought about Kmet, but went D.

16 - Taysom Hill - just a Te backup.

Overall, happy enough with my team. In looking at the rosters, I think most are pretty close. I got a 9 out of 12 in the standings projection. Bier and Twinsdad both have good ratings and I don't much like either of their teams. Good luck Geeks!

I was also surprised by the RB run at the 1-2 turn; I was hoping Etienne or Pacheko would be there.  Ended up picking a 2nd WR (MH Jr) to go with JJ.  That kinda threw me off my plan, and along with drinking too much, led me to draft all Cardinals.  (also took Kyler and Conner, plus Wilson for bench depth).  If they turn into the greatest show on... sand?  I'll be styling and profiling.  More likely, the site ranking of 7th seems about right.

1 - was always going to be CeeDee so long as the holdout was over. I just view RB as extremely devalued in our format. CMC had a big workload last year... If he has another monster season, I can live with it, but i'll take the less injury prone position.

2/3 - Initial plan was London and Kamara and then forget about RB for a while. I think I was pleasantly surprised to be able to snag Adams and London.

4/5 - went off the rails a bit here. I didn't think LaPorta or Kupp would come close to making it back here, so when they popped a few picks before, I was disappointed. Nabers was also gone, I believe so I was picking from a big tier for my WR4. Too many good options.  Then, in hindsight, I wish I would have picked McBride over Jones. I thought Evan Engram would last to the 6/7 turn.

6/7 - When Engram popped I had to pivot to Pitts, who I dont like and also owning London makes it feel a little more annoying. Would have much rather had McBride and gone Rhamondre/Raheem Mostert here.    Starting McBride and Stevenson   would be better than starting Pitts and Jones

8/9 - Glad Daniels lasted. A few more QBs were picked than I anticipated with Cloaca doing Cloaca things, etc.  Missed Mostert so didn't really have a target. Addison has the talent, we will see about any suspension and the QB play.

10/11 - I was bored and still kicking myself on McBride so I went with a pair of stashes  in Chubb and Hockenson. Two players who could be extremely useful if this team is still alive by week 8

.... I was happy to get Josh Palmer but was sniped on Trey Benson. Also the QB's I intended to pair with Daniels (Lawrence, Cousins, Herbert, Stafford etc) all kept going just before I could grab any.

In my main league, I couldn't decide on whether to take Etienne or Pacheco. I went with Etienne, figuring he was a safer bet considering Pacheco's running style. Lo and behold, Pacheco was still there after the turn, so I got him, too.

The receiver I really wanted in our draft was Olave, whom I think will have a breakout season.

Was thinking we should each rank all 12 owners

Furthest left - Crusty

Furthest right - Clocaine

After reviewing my draft, if my team stays healthy and plays to their potential plus a little I should be in the playoffs this year. 🤟🏻
