Will Donald even make it to January? He’s really rambling, can’t seem to keep his train of thought.

He’s well enough to force the President of the US out of the race.

From your "Fact Check" link.

I read that Sen. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump, both Republican presidential candidates, say that Hillary Clinton started the birther movement during her 1980 campaign for president. Is that true?

Your "fact check" link couldn't even check the fact that Hilary Clinton didn't run for President in 1980.

Here you go 5 there are a lot of contradictions in this article but the facts are there -

“Much of the insinuation that Clinton had a hand in birtherism traces to the role of her then-senior strategist Mark Penn, who issued a memo in 2007 suggesting that Clinton emphasize Obama’s upbringing in Hawaii and Indonesia and paint him as fundamentally un-American. The memo never questioned Obama’s citizenship but did suggest highlighting his “lack of American roots.”

“His roots to basic American values and culture are at best limited,” Penn wrote. “I cannot imagine electing a president during a time of war who is not at his center fundamentally American in his thinking and in his values.”

Later, in the spring 2008, as Clinton’s chances of winning the Democratic primary grew thin, some of her hardcore supporters circulated rumors that Obama may not be a U.S. citizen, picking up on some of Martin’s innuendo and extending it further.

“Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy. She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth,” read one of those emails posted, at the time, by Snopes.com, a site that attempts to debunk internet rumors.”

“On Friday, Clinton’s former senior aide Patti Solis Doyle acknowledged that a volunteer coordinator in Iowa forwarded a birther-related email. “Hillary made the decision immediately let that person go,” she said. “We let that person go.

Didn’t Donald spend years investigating this and sent his top guys to Hawaii to get into it.

Probably same crew that was investigating the stolen election!

Michael Cohen says Trump lied about sending investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama's birth certificate

President Trump was lying when he claimed in 2011 that he had paid private investigators to go to Hawaii to dig up information on former President Barack Obama's birth certificate, Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer and fixer, told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Tuesday.

In his new book, Disloyal: A Memoir, Cohen writes about Trump pushing the false claim that Obama was not actually born in Hawaii. Cohen told Maddow that when Trump began talking endlessly about the conspiracy theory, he "saw that his poll numbers and his popularity and the number of times that he's gracing the cover of the newspaper is increasing." Trump didn't actually believe any of it, Cohen said, but "he doesn't care what he says, he doesn't care who gets hurt, so long as he wins."

After Trump claimed to have sent private investigators to Hawaii, he declared that they couldn't "believe what they're finding." Later, Trump refused to share what the PIs allegedly uncovered, telling CNN's Anderson Cooper it wasn't "appropriate" to reveal their discoveries and letting ABC News' George Stephanopoulos know "it's none of your business right now."

"He never sent anybody anywhere, he just said it and everybody sort of bought into it," Cohen said. "'Of course Donald Trump sent somebody, he's rich, right, who wouldn't send somebody if you wanted to prove your point?' Well, Donald Trump didn't do it because he didn't want to spend the money and he didn't believe it. His hatred for Barack Obama is plain and simple: He's Black, he went to Harvard Law, he graduated the top of his class, he's incredibly articulate, and he's all the things that Donald Trump wants to be, and he just can't handle it."

It's really hard to believe that DJT might have lied about all of this.

Yeah. That was a little tongue in cheek from me. The idea of Trump’s guys wandering around Waikiki looking for Obama’s long form birth certificate is pretty funny though.

First of all, there is no "Russiagate", it happened, and people were indicted over it.

As far as "concrete evidence", that was never a claim.  Crowdstrike provided forensic evidence along with other firms providing their forensic evidence, and the FBI concluded based on the entirety of the evidence that it was a Russian hack.

Read the wiki article and learn something, and stop being a shill for the Russians.  You look pathetic.

What’s false? All those things happened. I’m not saying Donald was colluding with them, but they did work to get him elected, he did say jokingly to find Hillary’s emails, and did say he take help from a foreign country if they offered.

You should read the article. Mate is a fantastic writer. Here, I’ll raise your debunked wiki entry with some facts -

“Material obtained by Durham’s team shows that the Clinton campaign and its contractor, the cyber-firm CrowdStrike, stonewalled the FBI’s requests for critical data about the alleged Russian hack. Two key Clinton associates who were integral to the Russian hacking claim also appear to have perjured themselves before Congress.”

“Asked directly if the FBI sought access to the servers, Sussmann replied: “No, they did not.” He then added a caveat: “Excuse me, not to my knowledge.” The FBI, Sussmann added, “would have” had access “if they wanted it ... But it wasn't something that they were interested in at the time.”

So back to the state of the race: it now appears that Trump’s selection of JD Vance was a colossal political error. Vance is an extremist and he’s going to scare away independents especially in Michigan and Wisconsin, where Trump needs to win. Rubio would have been a far better choice because he might peel off more Hispanic voters. Vance is only loved by the MAGA crowd who are already voting for Trump.

It’s pretty obvious that Trump made that choice because he figured that the election was over and he would win in a landslide.

@Bill E. haven’t you done a POTUS popular vote contest before?  I’d love to see some geeks’ take on voter turnout. I guess we need to wait for the convention. If Trump got 74M after killing thousands of Americans during Covid, how far does he drop?  A 10% drop in Trump votes would still require the Dem candidate to have Obama like turnout.  Can it be done?

Also- does anyone remember last week the reporting from Trump’s campaign that we would see a new Trump, somber and reflective after the assassination attempt, who would promote unity? Lololol. How quickly has that gone away? And it’s only going to get uglier from here. Wait for the sexist and racist attacks against Kamala. They’ve already started. But they won’t help him.

Policy. If you want to attack her actions regarding immigration and the the border, that’s legit. If you want to criticize the results of the Biden administration, like inflation, which she was a part of, that’s legit too. Policy.

Did you miss the part where the President of Crowdstrike said there was no concrete evidence or are you just a bored intentionally obtuse blowhard? I need to know this info before I continue to make you look stupid -

Ok but you still can’t ignore the facts that the committee was wrong in their conclusion which Mate proved out in his reporting. Also, you didn’t even try to read the report because it’s unreadable as 90% of it is redacted.

How can a party so out of touch with their leaders expected to be taken seriously.

Anyone who isnt a half brain dolt saw this coming. We all knew he was on a seriously decline back in 2018.

The democrat party tried to hide it. So the question is who is actually running the country now and has been these past 4 years.

Yes I saw that, and it's a cherry picked statement.  Here is the full statement...

“MR. HENRY: So, to go back, because I think it’s important to characterize this. We didn’t have a network sensor in place that saw data leave’ We said that the data Ieft based on the circumstantial evidence. That was a conclusion that we made. when I answered that question, I was trying to be as factually accurate’ I want to provide the facts. so I said that we didn’t have direct evidence’ But we made a conclusion that the data left the network.”

On page 32 of the testimony, Henry also explains that

“We don’t have video of it happening, but there are indicators that it happened” and “we did not have concrete evidence that data was exfiltrated from the DNC, but we have indicators that it was exfiltrated.”

This is on Crowdstrike's own website: https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/bears-midst-intrusion-democratic-national-committee/

Did CrowdStrike have proof that Russia hacked the DNC?

Yes, and this is also supported by the U.S. Intelligence community and independent Congressional reports.

Sit down.

This CrowdStrike Prez said that he could not unequivocally say that the emails were “exfiltrated” but explains ways that the info could be taken and we know that they were taken and leaked.

As to Russia efforts to aid a Trump win the bi-partisan, REPUBLICAN led committee found other ways they were trying to aide a Trump win. Social media propaganda, contact with Trump campaign staff, among other things.

Additionally as I said Trump did “joke” about wanting their help and said he’d take dirt from a forgiven country if it were offered.

What about promoting bail funding for 2020 riot criminals?  Racist? Sexist?  Both?

Not necessarily a prize needed. As we’ve seen in the Timmy betting fiasco, bragging rights is good enough most of the time. He just sets good parameters for these and is fair.  @Bill E.

You didn't mention a prize and I should have acknowledged that.  I shouldn't have lumped you in with the multiple other people I have seen request him run some contest and give away a toof. That sh!t really pisses me off.
