Can't even vote for the third party candidates this year.  Cornell West, Chase Oliver, Jill Stein. They are as bad as Harris and Trump. Write in votes in Colorado are not counted unless the pereson voted for has filed an affidavit with the Secretary of State 110 days prior to the election that they will accept the niomination so tyhat is not a practical alternative.  There is a nominal fee for so doing as I recall.  I don't believe the Secretary of State releases the names of those filing affidavits, though I may be wrong as that makes little actual sense, legally.

This is a prime situation in which the conservative belief that the MSM promotes liberal outcomes completely fails. Because the media does NOT want Kamala to walk away with this thing; a tight race all the way to the end will result in much higher ratings. It would serve the media far better if Trump wins the debate next week. (Not to mention the fact that 4 more years of a chaotic Trump will ensure much higher ratings than if he goes away.) RealClear Politics has Harris ahead in Wisconsin, Michigan, and PA (but easily within margin of error) and Trump ahead in Arizona, NC, and Georgia (also all easily within margin of error. They are tied in Nevada.

It's almost as if polls are not great indicators of anything right now.

Also, two things of note for me:

1.) The numbers are narrowing on opinion when people are asked who is more equipped to handle the issues of the economy, immigration, and national security. Harris polls far closer to Trump than Biden yet still behind. But a good debate performance could even those numbers out.

2.) Kamala's campaign slogan is "We're Not Going Back" and then you have Trump out there running out the same attack lines of 2016 and 2020. It does make her stuff look more positive.

 

And one thing of note for Trump:

The good news for people who view him as their pick- he's run from behind before and won. So it's very doable.
