Why? So they can't read the truth? You can't control them anymore?

Because the “truth” becomes highly subjective under such circumstances.

When ABC, CBS, and NBC get involved.  Several examples this week alone.

I really like learning that Kamala is headed to North Carolina today. There was a rumor earlier this week that she had pulled funding from NC because internal polling there was awful. She would not be heading there with 3 days left if that was the case. Trump is also there which suggests his internal polling shows he is concerned.

And that pleases me too. I’ve sort of written off Georgia and NC. But maybe the campaign knows something I don’t.

My first and final prediction this election is that I believe Harris will win one way or another.

Watch her get PA thanks to the group think Philly metro area.  Like any other up for grab states, the big city will determine it with group think.

I believe it will be fairly close but my prediction is Harris becomes the next president.  She then goes back to being a lame duck that even regular dems think sucks.  And its another 4 years just like the last from libs "i dont like biden/kamala, but I hate trump"

Stooge #2 incoming.

The Democrats will miraculously find tens of thousands of ballets at about 3 or 4am in the morning in each state that might need it.  States that don't need it will also miraculously have all of their ballots counted by about 10pm or so.

More than 4 million Georgians voted early — a record level of turnout that's more than 55% of the total number of registered voters in the state.

As of Saturday morning, 92 Georgia counties have exceeded 50% turnout.

They're used to it.  There's already a cabal/junta running the "Biden" presidency now.  They don't care about Democracy one bit.

Put up a reasonable Republican and I may vote for him or her. I have before. If you guys lose this election you’ll only have yourselves to blame for choosing this guy again.

I'm guessing it's Ford-last time they put up a reasonable candidate.

Ann Selzer- who runs the Selzer & Company polling company based in Iowa that is viewed as incredibly accurate by polling aggregators- has Kamala up 3% on Donald among likely voters in Iowa. The poll there was conducted with RFK as an option because he is still on the ballot there in Iowa.

Look I wouldn't bet on Iowa being in play necessarily. However, given how accurate she is usually at projecting Iowans, and the fact that she is finding Trump is still strong with his core groups but women- both Democrats and independent- are breaking heavily to Kamala.....it would give me a little pause to the point where I'd say perhaps it might be more than noise.

Breaking: New Des Moines Register poll

Iowa: Likely voters

Harris 47%

Trump 44%

Trump lead Biden by 18 points back in June.

Just a tweet?  Not the actual poll?  How typical of you.  This one begs to differ:

The actual poll isn't here but this article breaks down everything in it:

Some good guesses here. I voted for Reagan with my first vote in 1984- very proud of that. He is still my favorite President of my lifetime. I’ve been to the Reagan library twice. If you come this way it’s worth seeing. Incredible man, incredible history.

In 88 and 92 I voted libertarian. I was really into Ayn Rand back then.  In 2008 I was a huge fan of McCain but I couldn’t pull the trigger because of Palin. In 2012 I voted for Romney. I liked Obama, still do, but I preferred Romney’s economic ideas, still do.

Certainly disagree with you here. But even so it mattered more in 2008 because McCain’s health was always a question mark.

Appreciate the response.  You should have stuck with Rand,   :D

Regarding visiting the Reagan library... from, say, 1998 to 2010, and again from 2017 to 2020, I went to SoCal all the time.  Like, three out of four weeks for a few days a week.  I did a terrible job of taking advantage of a lot of dead time between customer visits, to visit things like Reagan's Library.  I wish I could go back and tell myself to not be so lazy about such things.  :(

Yeah, because she is so personable and funny.

I'm sure the MSDNC will paint her as the new Lucille Ball or Carol Burnett, no matter how poorly she performs.

I disagree with a lot of her ideas now, but at my core I still agree with her main principle: that capitalism is a moral good. I still very much believe that. My beliefs about free trade and immigration are rooted in this principle.

Donald Trump is not a capitalist; if you know your Ayn Rand, he is very much like a Jim Taggert or Orren Boyle type. Kamala Harris, though favoring government intervention at times, is actually far more of a free market type than Trump is. I know that this must seem counterintuitive to you, nonetheless I’m absolutely convinced of it.
