So?  How does that prove he's not a moderate? 🤣

Because everyone on the right is an extremist now, and there are no extremists on the left.

There are moderate democrats, moderate republicans, and independents... there are no "moderates" as a standalone identifier.  When I said that he [Musk], was a moderate, it was to correct Guttertroll on Musk's position.

In American politics, a moderate is considered someone occupying a centre position on the left–right political spectrum.

its okay, you can admit you were wrong

Exactly.  His own source even says its the center position ON THE LEFT-RIGHT political spectrum, meaning you're a moderate left or moderate right (which is what I said).... and he's telling me I'm wrong.

How does one register to vote as a Moderate?

He knows he's wrong. He just doesn't want to admit it.

A person can be moderate but they have to register with a particular party if they want to vote.

You don't have to register with a party to vote in the general election and some primaries.

I asked you first.

However, since you asked, Kennedy could run as an "Independent." He cannot run as a "Moderate" unless he wants to form a new party in the next couple of weeks.

You can register No Party and consider yourself moderate.  Party affiliation as nothing to do with being a moderate, just like extreme or ultra.  You can be ultra left or ultra right

Then why do you keep asking about registering as a moderate or who the moderate party candidate is?

This reads to me like you admitting you were wrong.  No one said moderate is a political party, thus no one claimed there was a Moderate party candidate.

Ok, to sum up for the morons in the class....

  • GutterTroll called Musk a "Right-wing nutjob".  We know GutterTroll, so we know (as evidence, here, and here), that when he claims "Right-wing nutjob", he means "Alt-right".
  • In a post, I said that Musk wasn't a nutjob (i.e. alt-right), that he was quite moderate.  OBVIOUSLY, since I didn't contest him being right-wing, I'm clearly talking about how far to the right he is, which is.... MODERATE.
  • For some reason, apparently, Hauck seemed to think that "Moderate" is a standalone political stance, as evidence here and here.
  • Any confusion about my prior post, was cleared up here.
  • After proving himself to be a moron here, he says I cleared up my stance by re-responding to that same post 4+ hours later with this post.

In between, too many to re-link, others were pointing out how stupid Hauck's posts were.

As the Wise Yogurt would say, that's the "Short, short version".

  • Thanks 1

Yeah, I know how he is and I didnt feel like getting into a semantics circle jerk. You didn't type those exact werdz but your posts indicated that you thought moderate was equivalent to a political party when it isn't.

Thanks for proving yourself wrong.  Independent isn’t a party

The American Independent Party (AIP) is a political party in the United States founded in 1968.

The party is known for highlighting independent campaigns. In April 2024, the AIP nominated independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr and running-mate Nicole Shanahan to their ticket.[7

Wiki says otherwise

But much to your chagrin, moderate is not a party.

The American Independent Party is a party, but Independent is not a party.  Thanks for proving yourself wrong again. You’re pretty good at that, what is that the third time you’ve done it in this thread alone?

As you admitted earlier, I never said moderate was a party.   As I correctly pointed out to @TBayXXXVII, a moderate can also be independent. So if you just call someone a moderate, it’s not clear if you’re calling them a moderate Democrat, moderate Republican, or independent. He really spent a lot of time linking my posts though, he must’ve been mad about how stupid he looked in the St Pete pride flag thread
