**Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary**

5.06- QB C.J. Stroud, Hou.
9.06- QB Caleb Williams, Chi.

1.06- RB Jonathan Taylor, Ind.
2.07- RB James Cook, Buf.
3.06- RB Joe Mixon, Hou.
13.06- RB Alexander Mattison, LV

4.07- WR George Pickens, Pit.
6.07- WR Calvin Ridley, Ten.
7.06- WR Jameson Williams, Det.
11.06- WR Rome Odunze, Chi.
12.07- WR Curtis Samuel, Buf.
15.06- WR Jermaine Burton, Cin.

8.07- TE Jake Ferguson, Dal.
10.07- TE Brock Bowers, LV

14.07- D/ST, Kansas City Chiefs
16.07- K, Cameron Dicker, LAC.

QB - A bit of risk with this group. If Stroud doesn't have a sophomore slump and plays like last year, I'm golden. While I fully expect the typical rookie ups and downs from Williams, his rushing ability should offset it some for a decent game here and there.

RB - Obviously the strength of my team. If everyone can stay healthy, this group should keep my out of the basement by themselves in most weeks. Cook might be the wildcard. With the turnover at WR, you'd expect him to get more usage this year. My hope is that only having 2 TDs last year was the floor.

WR - When you go RB/RB/RB to start, you're obviously going to suffer at WR. Looking at my group, I don't know whether to cringe or be somewhat excited for the upside. A lot of raw talent, but question marks across the board. Pickens' head, new teams for a couple, injuries and rookies.

TE - A solid group. Ferguson should should be consistent weekly with hopefully the occasional splash week from the guy rated near the top of most NFL mocks.

Overall, I view this is a middle of the pack team. I wanted to try something new with focusing on RBs. While the team isn't horrible, it had the feel during the entire draft of being behind and reaching for picks.

QB's - Prescott, Stafford

RB's - Robinson, Montgomery, J. Williams, Singletary, R. Davis

WR's - Evans, Samuel, M. Brown, Cooks, Lockett

TE's - Andrews, Musgrave

K - Koo

D/ST- Steelers

I'm happy with my squad.  There's nothing flashy about it though.  It is solid and deep, with some nice redzone options.

It's sounding like Bijan's usage will take a leap, with McCaffrey comparisons in the offensive scheme.  His supporting cast is strong  with Singletary my  RB4.

WR's are deep also, and I like what I'm hearing coming out of KC on Hollywood Brown.  Cooks and Lockett as WR 4 & 5, are solid.

Andrews is a great redzone option and Musgrave is going to take a leap.  (my token Packer pick)

Good luck everyone!  Great job getting this draft done quick!

4.01- QB Jalen Hurts, Phi.
13.12- QB Russell Wilson, Pit.

3.1
2- RB Rachaad White, TB
5.12- RB
 James Conner, Ari.
7.12- RB Austin Ekeler, Was.

8.01- RB Gus Edwards, LAC

1.12- WR Garrett Wilson, NYJ

2.01- WR Puka Nacua, LAR
6.01- WR Christian Kirk, Jax.
11.12- WR Adam Thielen, Car.

12.01- WR Romeo Doubs, GB

 16.01- WR Chase Claypool, Buf.

9.12- TE Cole Kmet, Chi.

10.01- TE Pat Freiermuth, Pit.

15.12- K Harrison Butker, KC
14.01- D/ST, San Francisco 49ers

QB - Solid.  Hurts is Hurts, and Wilson is a solid #2.  Could be dynamic, but the floor is pretty high with Hurts.  If Wilson meshes, this is really nice.

RB - Not gonna complain.  Starting WR-WR made me a little nervous, given the attention on RBs early in this draft.  But 4 starters makes this a deep group, if not spectacular.  White is young and explosive, and likely determines how good this unit is.  It shouldn't lose me ground.

WR - I like this group, despite the remarkable amount of youth.  Youth anchors it, Kirk should be a #1 or 1a in a rising offense, and Thielen has a capped ceiling, but provides consistency.  No regrets on Claypool, who is a complete swing.  Huge talent, and if he screws his head on right, this unit is ridiculous.

TE - waited a long time, and so lacking that surer-fire #1.  But both are solid, and Freiermuth has big upside with a better situation in Pittsburgh.

K & DEF - if rankings are anything, this is as fine as any.

Overall - I am content with this squad.  I don't know that it has the zazz of some, but there is potential upside, and a pretty solid floor (barring injuries, of course).

I'll echo remote.  This team is fun, exciting.  Yes, the youth could crumble, but it's positioned to really take off.

QB Jordan Love, GB
QB Tua Tagovailoa, Mia.
RB Kyren Williams, LAR
RB Josh Jacobs, GB
RB Tyjae Spears, Ten.
RB Zach Charbonnet, Sea.
WR Ja'Marr Chase, Cin.
WR Michael Pittman, Ind.
WR Amari Cooper, Cle.
WR Zay Flowers, Bal.
WR Jerry Jeudy, Cle.
WR Quentin Johnston, LAC
TE Evan Engram, Jax.
TE Taysom Hill, NO
K Justin Tucker, Bal.
D/ST Houston Texans

QB: Quite happy. Love and Tua both can be solid QB1s, Tua's injury history makes him a little risky, but a great QB2 option.
RB: Good starters, questionable depth. I still think RB is generally a wasteland this year, but I'm happy with Williams/Jacobs. Spears can push Pollard for touches, and Charbonnet could put up solid numbers if Walker gets hurt.
WR: The strength of my team. I felt Pittman/Cooper/Flowers was a great run, and shows, as weak as RBs are, there's plenty of WR depth to be had. Jeudy and Johnston are talented lottery tickets.
TE: Engram seems to have put his injury history behind him, and Lawrence loves him. Hill is Hill.
K: Tucker's a long time top K, no reason to think this will be the year the wheels come off.
D/ST: It's a defense.

This starting lineup is as good as anything we're going to see.  The QB duo is basically unfair. LOL.

I don't usually make comments about the team I draft as I just am not good at analyzing my own team. I will leave that up to others who are much more versed than I.

My strategy was to go "wide receiver heavy" which I believe I accomplished. I am not a fan of drafting TEs early, so this team shows that rather well. My QBs are exactly what I had planned, get one early and then wait for my QB2. Thanks everyone....what a quick draft this year......hope an owner who hasn't won this yet gets a 2024 win!
