ESPY Awards 2024: Serena Williams roasts Harrison Butker

Recommended Posts

1 hour ago, TimHauck said:

lol, he did much more than “tell women it is ok to just be a mom.”  He said just “just being a mom” (homemaker) was “one of the most important titles of all”

Serena Williams had a career outside of being a mom and accomplished pretty much everything there was to accomplish in it, and because of her career is going to be able to financially support her family likely for generations to come.  She is not a homemaker

No liar, I cited “JUST being a mom.”  Key word being “just.”

Read your sentence again above. Who put "homemaker" in parenthesis?

Me.  JUST being a mom = stay at home mom = homemaker.

Okay, so Butker didn't say "homemaker", YOU did.  Which is exactly what I said.  A "homemaker" doesn't necessarily imply having kids. Being a "mother" DIRECTLY implies having kids.

Having the most difficult job in the world requires the most attention you can give it.  Nothing wrong with being a mother and nothing wrong with giving it the most important job in the world title, because it is.   Nothing wrong with that and the fact that it scares you to the point of hysteria says more about you than it does about Butker.

Butker said homemaker dumbazz.
Will you finally admit you were wrong for once? QUOTE: “one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.”

Did Butker actually say the words "Homemaker"?  Because you just said YOU added that.

Ugly beast of a woman

I was on a flight with her a couple years ago.  She’s an absolute freak of a specimen.  Her legs and ass are so huge and muscular that it’s hard for the human brain to process.  It was a similar feeling to when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time.

It’s not, I never said it was.  But Butker thinks that’s what women should want to be, I believe even @jerryskids came around to that being a paraphrasing of what Butker said.

And? Again, what's wrong with that? If you can afford to stay and raise your Kids then why not? Who else is supposed to raise them?

That goes for a Man or Woman.

Is there any data on this?

If there even is which I’m skeptical, it could be a correlation vs causation conversation because a family with a SAHM is more likely to be higher income which means the parents are more likely to be actively involved.

But also, does a crackhead count as a stay at home mom?

That's fine, but it's not like women are forced to follow his beliefs. He has every right to say it, and women have every right to either agree, or disagree.

In other words, only oversensitive soy boys and girls throughout the country got upset about it.

Let’s see, he said pride month is a deadly sin, of course it is.

He said the Catholic Church we’re pushing dangerous gender ideologies on youth, so does pride month, he has two of them correct.

Lots of woman do desire to stay home and be the Proverbs 31 woman, if that works for both the man and the woman , Because we all know without any doubt marriage is only between a man and a woman, than it works.

And He’s against murdering babies, Thank you Jesus

God bless.

Agree, except in the thread about it righties here were saying his views were “correct” and people like @Cdub100 were incorrectly characterizing those who disagreed as “sh1tting on moms,” “hating women” and “hating the nuclear family” when they were simply sh1tting on Butker for being stuck in the 1950’s

It’s horrible because we’re at a point where everything the normies believe a functioning society should embrace, the full retard leftists want to destroy because that’s what they do.

Harrison Butker gave a Christian values commencement speech at a private Catholic university. He didn’t call anyone out or individualize anyone. These 2 hags attacked him for his beliefs at sports awards show. This is who they chose to attack in reference to woman’s sports and not the trannies hanging their dongs in the locker room. The left has brain aids.

There are as less outrage about Butker than there was about a rainbow in target or a tranny on a can of beer.

He called out every woman who just worked hard to get their degrees, saying they have been told diabolical lies and won't be happy until they are wives and mothers.  Dope.

Who here said it was horrible or even “not embraced”?  The hilarious thing about the original Butker thread was that the righties here were simultaneously saying those that interpreted Butker’s words as saying he thought being a homemaker was better than working outside the home were “twisting his words,” while also saying that someone saying it was dumb of him to say that at a college graduation means they’re saying “being a homemaker is horrible” (which you’re doing now).

There's plenty of data supporting this fact.

A lot men, myself included, respect women more who are homemakers. The selflessness of it is very attractive.

An athlete used a Catholic university commencement speech to share his personal opinion and worldview. Other athletes used an awards show to publicly shame him just because his worldview is different than theirs. Your MSNBC infected brain aids has turned you full retard. The only thing true about what you wrote is that they have been told diabolical lies that motherhood wouldn’t be a happy outcome for them.

You’re certainly free to believe that and seek out a mate who shares your values

But if you go to a college graduation and tell them they’ve been told “diabolical lies” about the value of having their own career… yeah that’s gonna get some pushback

Butker is a Catholic, that gave a speech at a private catholic school to warn others about the evil to come from the Catholic Church.

I don’t respect someone more for staying home , or if they work, I respect their decision.

I think when a parent chooses to stay home is great, it builds up the family, and protects the child/children.

Thanks. Fools.

Substantial difference between an individual (who happens to be an NFL kicker) sharing his views during a commencement speech at a private Catholic university, & two Fortune 500 companies pushing an agenda nationwide.
