Musician autobiographies

Recommended Posts

I recently read Geddy Lee's "My Effin Life" and am almost finished listening to the audio book of Rob Halford's "Confess".   Both of these are excellent and I highly recommend them for other folks who like RUSH and Judas Priest.

What are some other good musician autobiographies that I should check out next?

Don’t believe a thing Nikki Sixx says. Habitual liar.

Read the John Denver one and the Bob Marley one.  The Marley was detailed to the point of being cumbersome.

name 100 and he’s technically the worst

if he didn’t write songs, he’d be a nobody.

MC is in my top 5 all time, but he’s not a good bassist

Just finished the Rob Halford audio book.  It included an extra chapter after publication which detailed him dealing with prostate cancer.

I've already dealt with the same poosay eating throat cancer as Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) so I guess if end up w prostate cancer I can look to another metal hero for hope and inspiration.

:headbanger:

Yeah, I’m not even a big nirvana guy, but I just find him really brilliant.
