Tim and i settled our wager some months ago.  He owes me nothing, other than, perhaps, and only perhaps, acknowledgement that had we continued our wager I would have won.  Even that he does not owe as we are long since settled and have moved on.

I appreciate the kind words but I don’t think someone should be complimented for simply keeping their word and honoring their bets. I think it’s sad that we’ve reached a point in our society where such behavior is regarded as not the norm and therefore worthy of note and compliment.
