CEH isn’t good, but I’m not going handcuff an investment into an unsure outcome I think CEH could still be the first one.

Pacheco, on the other hand is ok (average) in the pass game among starters, but between the tackles hes exactly what you want.
kcBlitzkrieg 29 Posted August 1 Jerrick McKinnon carved out a nice RZ role in this offense at one time. Perhaps that is what Reid has in store for Toney....

League Champion 1,790 Posted August 3 We can stop with the Toney talk. It's not happening for the guy. He's done nothing to prove he belongs in the NFL.

TBayXXXVII 2,391 Posted August 7 Just my take, I don't care what any Depth Chart says... I know that Clyde Edwards-Helaire stinks. If I want to take a Pacheco handcuff, I'll take Prince.
justforbeer 41 Posted August 7 I just find it so funny, I remember the days when they drafted CEH and everybody was going crazy about how good he was going to be. looking at this thread, seems like everybody recognizes that he wasn’t as good as the talk was his rookie year. nobody 2,461 Posted August 28 Semaje ending up with the Chiefs is intriguing to me. I'm having Jerrick McKinnon 2022 dreams when he had 9 receiving TDs and 50 catches for 500 yards.

Agreed, McKinnon production came at the right time, Perine is a very good move, and a good ppr bench guy, who can produce.

I'm gonna hang on to Perine for one more week and see what happens. CEH can be grabbed and put in my IR spot but we've all seen what (little) he can do so I'll let someone else take him. Chargers banged up on both sides of the ball, Chiefs get right game. 34-17.

There isn't a KC RB worth rostering because you can't count on any of them. Andy Reid will game plan to throw the ball 40+ times and run with whatever RB best fits the matchup that day. It'll change week to week and maybe even quarter by quarter. Don't waste you're time trying to play Russian Roulette with their backfield. Just look elsewhere unless you have no choice. If that is the case where you have no choice, then hanging on to Perine is the right move.

I think they will give him another shot this week. he started slow, but late in the game all that rugged running started to take its toll on the defense. he became more effective as it got later in the game. nobody 2,461 Posted September 26 You can get CEH essentially for free, but I wouldn't be counting on someone coming back from PTSD as soon as potentially possible that he says he's had since before the shooting at the parade. This isn't something that is going to necessarily have a timetable. https://fox4kc.com/sports/chiefs/chiefs-rb-clyde-edwards-helaire-describes-living-with-ptsd/ The majority of his PTSD is from the shooting, but Edwards-Helaire has endured a lot of trauma throughout his 25 years of life. “I wouldn’t necessarily say everything stemmed from that,” he said. “I have best friends that passed away at young ages from gun violence, and just not being in the right places at the right time and just knowing that I have people that are close to me or around me who could be in the same spots that I am.” Edwards-Helaire also had a spotlight put on him after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade and rally shooting in February, when he shielded a young boy and comforted him. The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending school violence that was created after the Robb Elementary School mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, added him to their National HEROISM AWARD list. In the aftermath of the rally shooting, Edwards-Helaire commended the boy for his bravery during the shooting and indicated that he suffered from PTSD before that incident. “Sometimes I’m admitted into the hospital, something like I can’t stop throwing up and it’s just, I [don’t] know [anything] pretty much to stop it,” said the Chiefs’ 2020 first-round draft pick. Edwards-Helaire is one of the Chiefs’ top attitude players. His humor and positivity provide a spark throughout the team. So when he suffers from bouts of PTSD and cyclic vomiting syndrome, his teammates notice. “Real bad dehydration … but it’s really just mentally just not being there,” said Edwards-Helaire. “It is one of those things where early on, guys who kind of pay attention like Travis [Kelce] and Kadarius [Toney], at times they’ll know ahead of time like, ‘OK, Clyde’s not laughing, he’s not giggling, he’s not himself.'” He credited athletic trainer Julie Frymeyer and head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder with giving him coping mechanisms. He said he even talks to the Chiefs’ security staff, which has ex-military and ex-police personnel, about how they deal with PTSD. “I’m a guy who can talk to anybody,” he said. “And if I can get the help from, I mean, even if it’s [a member of the media] who I feel experienced something or I could talk to or a different coping mechanism that they feel helped them, I try my best to get whatever I need for help. So I can come out here and perform.” CEH’s time in KC hasn’t been the best for him as a first-round pick. After taking a starring role as a rookie and second-year player, his role diminished with the emergence of Isiah Pacheco. The Chiefs didn’t pick up his fifth-year option which made him a free agent coming into this season before he signed to a one-year contract. Edwards-Helaire may not be a focal point of the offense, but he stepped up in key spots last season to guide the Chiefs to wins and still has a heavy influence over his teammates. For a young man who brings the spark and joy that Edwards-Helaire does, the Chiefs work with him as he becomes an outspoken advocate for the illness that affects him and millions of others around the world. “My first couple of years, you just try to block everything out and it’s like, ‘Oh, at some point I’m going to get over it,'” he said. “And you start to realize that that just doesn’t happen. You get older and you realize, ‘Hey, no matter the age, no matter the person, no matter the situation, everyone needs help at some point.’ It takes courage to talk about it and having PTSD and dealing with it once people kind of bring it up, it is not something that I’d always want to talk about. I never really know how my body will react or my mind, it is just something that I can’t really pinpoint or know exactly what’s going to happen.” “I feel like talking is a big thing, but it is just getting over that hump personally, being able to know that honestly, just everybody goes through things good [and] bad … It’s a stepping stone. I’m just 25 years old and trying to live the rest of my life healthy.”
Einstein's Dog 24 Posted October 1 Pacheco got 7 screws and a plate into his leg along, with possible ligament damage. Sounds to me, like he's going to be out for a while. A power runner with a gimpy leg/ankle, I wouldn't expect to see him until December Is this the K Hunt show for the foreseeable future? Hunt looks like a top priority add to me. How much FAAB (percentage) are people using who still have a chance to get him? I'm considering about 40%. If Hunt is a full-time RB1 for KC for around 8 weeks that is a possible difference maker.
