I guess this could be a good thing if you get points for his return yards, but he's already a bit injury prone as it is...

that makes little to no sense at all to me... but then again, what do i know?  haha... corum's value goes up now i'm guessing....

That's insane.  Corum's stock certainly increases.

And Kyreen decreases

If you drafted Corum congrats, never did like K Williams adp, on record saying so.  This move makes a lot of sense, Corum is ready.

yeah, on most teams this is a job they give to one of the backups.   Not to a starter.   It feels like something odd is going on here.

McVay wants the ball in this guys hands early and often.  Again, Corum is the insurance policy.  I’m glad my drafts are this weekend.  I just hope this news broke late enough to drop his adp.

This seems reckless with your "starting rb" is there another starting rb returning kickoff in the entire league? If Williams goes down do you think Corum will be the returner? Not very likely.

I feel like this is a case where hes finding a way to get Corum some playing time and he will get more if Kyren Williams is returning kicks.   I think this is bad for Williams overall fantasy numbers unless you are in a league where kick return yards count

Ok. I can see that but as the starting rb the situation is normally reversed. The player that needs to get time is the one that returns kicks and plays on special teams. Not the vet that you claim is your rb. Kicks are not what they used to be but still that is going to put wear and tear on a player that was already injured last year. It seems like a crazy move to me

This just put Barkley ahead of Williams on my draft board as the possible #1 pick in my keeper league.  The top 5 guys (in no particular order), that are available are....

Alvin Kamara
Joe Mixon
Kyren Williams
Rhamondre Stevenson
Saquon Barkley

Not necessarily a good plan with a guy who's shown he can't stay healthy during his tenure in the league.

No that wouldn’t happen.

Agreed, It’s been reported how good and how quickly Corum has been and learn the system.  He’s a beast

Kyren Williams is very good. I would like to draft him on my team, but this news ruins the enthusiasm I had for him. I'll only take him now if his price drops considerably. Think I'm going after Etienne as my RB2 who I had on my team the last two years. Keeping Bijan as RB1.

I’m surprised with all the positive news about Corum , that people still wanted to draft k Williams even with his over inflated adp.

When they drafted Corum that’s when Williams adp should have dropped a lot, but it didn’t drop much.

I'm betting its dropping now.

Corum was good at Michigan but I wouldn't have been surprised if he wasn't drafted at all, but the Rams took him in the third round.

People are acting like Corum will get 300 touches this year.  At best, it’s a 50/50.  I’ll take the 50 from the guy that showed it at this level last year.

Not true, what I’m acting like is that back when Corum was drafted, I thought I Williams adp was to high, and Corum has had a great value adp, that is all.  . No One is saying 300 touches.

It's Sean McVay. His RBs ALWAYS run hot then burn out fast. I in no way would expect Kyren to get anywhere near the usage he did last season. Especially when they have a bell cow behind him.

I think it's more of people betting on a Kyren injury rather than Corum's talent.

No. People are acting like the coach wants to get his "star" running back hurt. Look around the league. There is LITERALLY no one else out there that is exposing their starting rb to the risk of returning kicks. not ONE. That is the job of rookies and special teamers. NOT the job of a RB that wore down and was injured last year. The feeling is that it is only a matter of time till Williams hurts himself again and it is the corum show.

I heard on the radio that the last starting running back to return kicks was Tiki Barber.

to me this means he wants an excuse to make Corum the starter.   so if Williams gets worn down or hurt, Corum goes full time.

For those that have drafted, where is Kyren Wiliams being drafted now? and how much has he recently gone for in an auction?
