cyclone24 1,912 Posted August 29, 2024 So two questions. Play in a yahoo league where Taysom still has tightened eligibility. Where would you slot him as far as tied ends given that information? Had another league draft where I got AJ Brown, and Amon Ra…. But my third eye grabbed Davante Smith. Would you have any concerns starting to Eagles wide receivers? thanks in advance and good luck to everyone this year

I'm a little leery of two WR on one team.... even Hill and Waddle so I'll be curious to hear others chime in as well. in all the mock drafts I've done in a 10 team league, he's always there in the 16th round. good luck. cheers
weepaws 3,035 Posted August 29, 2024 Hill is a good streamer, double digit round TE. I would have questions starting D Smith over St Brown.
polecatt 472 Posted August 30, 2024 Taysom Hill is a guy I love to have on the bench, but not necessarily have to play him each week. He has a good chance to hit a short term wave though, and if you can start him at TE when he does, it will be worth it. I had Cooper Kupp and picked up Puka Nacua after week 1 when Kupp was injured on my dynasty team last season. It was quite a headache to juggle the two for a big portion of the season though. I went back and forth and there were a couple of weeks I started them both. By the end of the season though, It was Puka Nacua's starting spot. I traded Kupp this offseason. TBayXXXVII 2,409 Posted August 30, 2024 Taysom Hill, the last 2 years, has been a TE1 in 12-team leagues... TE9 in 2022 and TE12 in 2023. In these last 2 seasons, he's had at least 600 total yards and 6. Last year he had over 30 receptions. If you believe that he'll be active in the rushing, receiving, and even passing game, I think he's worth drafting. From what I've read, they're going to continue to use him in the running game. I think there's a legit chance for him to have 35 catches, 700 total yards and 8 TD's. That's good for over 150 points. Last year, that would be around TE10. Anything passing could put him in the 160+ area. I certainly wouldn't mind pairing him up with Engram or Pitts. I will say though, those two are the last of the TE's I'd target. If I didn't get anyone that I'd want, with an ADP nearing 200, I'd have no problem waiting until like the 14th round and taking Hill. As for Brown and Smith, I think that's not terrible if you need only one of them to be a WR1 or WR2, because you have St. Brown. Last year, there were a few weeks where one of them scored single digits, but if you're taking 2 WR's from the same team, I think you have to be prepared to accept that. The scary part could be when it's playoff time. In playoff weeks, the Eagles play Pittsburgh, Washington, and Dallas.
weepaws 3,035 Posted August 30, 2024 Own Hill on both of my teams, the news about how they can’t seem to find a rb behind Kamara is another reason why I like Hill. I would agree he’s going to play rb more, and short yardage work.
