Chase bank atm hack

Recommended Posts

Have any of you seen this stupid shitt? Tik Tok users are encouraging people to use a "free money glitch"  which is just check fraud and a bunch of people are doing it. You could literally get 30 years in prison for this.

Have you seen who’s participating? There won’t be any charges, just credit scores going from 425 to 300.

Story

A number of viral TikTok videos had some people believing they could get “free” cash from Chase ATMs. But it was just a glitch – and those customers were actually committing fraud, according to the bank.

Over the weekend, videos appeared on the app showing people depositing checks for large sums of money at Chase ATMs and then making a withdrawal for a smaller yet substantial amount, leading them to believe they had discovered a bug and were hitting the jackpot.

The problem is that this is just a form of check fraud, a criminal offense. Chase said in a statement to CNN that the issue has “been addressed” and warned people not to try it.

Also it sounds like they are doing what this guy - Chase deserves to lose there money if they allowed it to happen after other banks had been scammed.

I fondly remember the beginning of online shopping in the golden age of the internet and numerous coupon “glitches “. The dot com bubble and incompetence put pets.com out of  business . I remember they had a $20 off with no minimum buy reusable coupon codes. That Co went down fast.

I discovered a cool glitch wherein I hit passers-by over the head with a bat, and then take their sneakers.  YMMV
