MLCKAA 519 Posted September 6, 2024 My true favorite is my own ham and beans, which is the best I’ve ever had. I take pride in my method. Otherwise, I love making a soup called Caldo Gallego several times during the cold months. It’s a hearty soup with chorizo, ham, beans, parsnips, potatoes, spinach or kale. The key thing is to toss a little smoked pulled pork on top of your bowl and that really sets it off. Superb.

RAW shrimp 1/2 way through cooking. Cayenne is my heat of choice with some Chipotle to smoke it up. Some diced thick cut bacon doesn't hurt. French or sourdough for dipping Pair it with a dark beer.....vanilla porter is my choice.
