That O/U of 49.5 seems high, but it implies we're in for a shoot out.

Yes…the field is mushy. Say bye-bye to the over.

Also (just an observation): am glad to be watching the game - and is first experience with ‘Peacock.’  Not awful…but not great either.  Feels like am missing plays and some of the goings-on in-between.

  • Thanks 1

Jacobs looks slow so far

They seem to be getting good penetration on the runs

This field is just silly. The NFL needs to learn that what isn’t broken need not be fixed.

Neither of these teams will win in the playoffs this year. Of course, it's early. Duh....

Jordan Love is down with 5 seconds left in the game. Now limping to the sidelines. Malik Willis coming in for the last play.

He's always been a mediocre passer, this is nothing new.  His value is in running.  The better Barkley does this year, the more Hurts is going to disappoint.  I still think he'll do fine though because they have too many weapons.

He just needs to clean up the mistakes. He's regressing as a QB

I picked Barkley as "Bust of the Year" ... doesn't look good.  I'll admit he looked spry. But moreso the Eagles o-line that everyone was touting lived up to the hype. Barkley was untouched on a few big runs up the middle.

Packers defense looked rather sorry - secondary got beat by everyone including Barkley, and couldn't stop the run. Might be a long year for Cheeseheads. On the flip side, might mean more shoot-outs for Love.

First game and a slippery field. But how did Packers start the game with their most dynamic weapon on the bench?

You're right. I missed the last 10 minutes or so of the game. Thankful he improved on the stats I quoted earlier.

I think it would be better for then to play on Fridays instead of Thursday, seems like it would be better for players, and fans.

Both defenses looked gassed the 2nd half that’s when Barkley and Jacobs got some chunk runs. Hard to say what’s real and what’s not when none of these players are conditioned and ready to play a 48 minute football game

Barkley is deadly once he gets the ball in space.   and that combined with a good O line is a nice combination.  once he gets into the secondary, watch out.

I love this guy.    Took him in the July Mock but wasnt able to get him in any of my other drafts.   I'm a bit sad about that, but hey, sometimes the draft falls in a manner that you cant get all your targeted players.   it happens.

he also seems to start off the season slow.  look at his last couple seasons.   week 1 and 2 were shaky and then he started lighting it up

might just be coincidence but its worth noting.    if you own him do not panic.

Not sure why Luke Musgrave was so underutilized.

At least he'll have the last 12 minutes to get some points.
