I’m a huge police supporter but believe they were wrong here. TH gave him his DL and rolled up his window. There is no law against keeping window up in a traffic stop. Cops can ask him to keep it down but cannot order you to do it with the force of law. No more than they can order you to take off your sun glasses to check your eyes to see if you look drunk. You have no obligation to help them gather evidence against you. Cops are fk’ed here. Power trip.

No, they can’t make you keep window down.  If you decide to not extend them that courtesy, especially with heavy tint, you can expect to be removed from the vehicle.  Lack of compliance in that action will lead to what occurred with Hill.

You’re a stupid human being.  During a police interaction the cops can do anything reasonable to protect their safety.  And rolling down tinted windows so they can see you is more than reasonable.
