As wrong as it is, I think it's just a natural progression.

The party that gets more & more people/families signed up for government programs, is going to continue to get more and more popular. I'm sure many of those people don't agree with the path Dems are taking us down, but how do you think they're going to vote when their family becomes accustomed to things like direct monthly payments for each child, another $6000 tax break for each newborn, 25,000 for a down payment on a home, etc ?
