Wright was inactive week 1. If Achane is limited, Wilson seems likely to get the start.

If both Mostert and Achane are out, I think Wilson is the one to own.  Lock for all early down and goal line work... possibly a reception or two. Unlikely they give Wright that many touches in his NFL debut.

Didn't Achane get 1 carry in his debut last year and then blow up the following week?

I have to start Wright, Blake Corum or Ray Davis at my RB 2 spot. Or I could drop one for another RB, before Thursday.

I think, I am definitely going to see what Wright can do before giving up on him for a roster spot; after the other Dolphin RB injuries. Any advice is appreciated.

Of those three, I would also go with Wright.  Didn’t see much from Corum, yet, nor Davis, both of them I would hang unto.   Good luck with Wright.

Wilson played special teams, when it comes to rb3 on game day that’s often the tie breaker.

If it’s down to Wilson or wright, I wouldn’t be surprised if either ended as the lead back but Wright could take Mosterts spot out right if he plays well, I can’t see Wilson doing that.

Yikes, those are all still bench stashes at this point. Worth holding on to but wouldn’t want to start any of them yet

I may be forced to play Wilson, but I don’t feel good about either even if Achane is out.  Mia’s o-line isn’t what it was last year and I don’t think any RB on that roster finds much success this year, and certainly nowhere close to last year.
With that said I think Wilson is the play if Achane is out.  It’s a tough matchup, and he’s probably more trusted than Wright.

So, I ended up dropping Blake Corum and picked up Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers. I think, I will start Irving or Wright; I have Davis in another league also, I think I have to start Ray Davis in that one because Nick Chubb and Jonathan Brooks are injured currently.

I wouldn't suggest this.

In regards to the Mostert injury, I have a rule that for every day in advance of a game, they rule a guy out, that correlates to the minimum number of weeks a player will be out.

They announced that Mostert was out on Tuesday right?  That would imply he's out at least 2 weeks.

I can most likely get him back by dropping Ray Davis or Jaylen Wright. Or even dropping Bucky Irving for him; although I just dropped Blake Corum for him.

I only spent $1 each on my 2 pick ups and I have $98 left to spend for free agents.

My other move was dropping Vikings WR Triston "Lucky" Jackson for Vikings WR Jordan Addison.

I thought Jackson would get some playing time and passes to him Week 1, after performing well in the pre-season. But, he did not play Week 1.

Might be tough deciding to start Tee Higgins, Bengals or Jordan Addison, Vikings. I hope to see what the injury reports are earlier, than later.

Other league I might randomly start Bo Nix over Trevor Lawrence on a whim for fun, kind of.

I am hoping Jaylen Wright, Dolphins RB and Ray Davis, Bills RB do well. I checked out some YouTube about Wright and could see him doing well tonight vs the Bills.

I decided to bench Bucky Irving; even though he had a pretty solid game stats wise I see for the Buccaneers in Week 1 for a rookie RB.

Hoping holding onto Nick Chubb in 2 leagues and Johnathan Brooks is a good idea. I should be okay waiting; until they get healthy enough to play football again in a live game. (Brooks is a rookie though)

Nothing from Wright.

Didn't expect him to do much tonight but was hoping for some signs for optimism going forward.

Is he droppable or is there still reason to believe?

I think the Miami RB's are already down one.  given that Achane missed significant time last year, I would at least think about holding him.    Achane goes down and he likely gets all the carries he can handle.

I only saw bits and pieces of the game, but the carries I saw from wright weren't impressive.

He looked tentative.  He didn't cut sharply, and he was indecisive.

With Tua’s latest concussion this may be a situation to avoid going forward.  I’d even consider selling any piece of this offense I could while you can still get top value.  I’m going to try to move Hill in the one league I have him.

Last year, Achane did nothing in his first game. 1 carry I believe?

yeah, he looked explosive and dangerous.

problem is, if I was a DC with Tua out, I would double cover Tyreek and stack the box to keep the run game down.

I know Waddle is still a good WR, but hes not a game Breaker like Tyreek.  Hes the most dangerous weapon on the team.

but the key would be forcing that inexperienced QB to throw the ball as often as possible to give your D their best chance to get turnovers.  and taking away the #1 RB and the run game seems like the best way to do it.   if the QB shows he can beat you when you play that way, then I'd expect some teams will go away from this but for now, that is the name of the game.

Just think how many more ff points Achane might have had if he was healthy, he was listed questionable the whole week.

honestly I dont know how much that matters.  its hard because some coaches are making players questionable when they have a hangnail.

so was he really hurt? I dont know.  he didnt look hurt.

that's all I"m saying.

That’s what the league is telling them they must do.  Less players would be listed on injury reports if teams were able to handle that themselves.
