0.5 pt per COMPLETION, bonus pts for 300+ passing yards, 6 pt passing Tds ... projecting Tua with 35+ Tds and I can get him in the 9th+ rounds.?. SIGN ME UP.

Took Stafford off waivers this morning.

Other than that... Spears. Didn't even like him when I drafted him in the 8th.  Like him even less after Wk 1.

Terrible. Starts every season injured (hammy this year), now Puka out and o-line decimated. Other back-up is Cousins. Still holding out hope, but Wk 1 looked like the Achilles may still be a huge problem. Now I'm carrying 3 Qbs.

Not exactly the start I was hoping fer.

I drafted both Tua and Rico.

I ended up dropping Dowdle to pick up Tua's replacement... TrEver Bank Lawrence.

Man, it's a 12 team league, but the QB waivers are bare.  Darnold, Bo Nix, Daniel Jones...

Not gonna put his name out here just yet ...I'll give it a couple more weeks since this week he's going up against a a stout defense in the ravens but I'm not impressed so far

J Ferguson, but hey he was a double digit round pick, he was horrible week one, now doubtful, he’s now unemployed in my league, he’s gone, I’m streaming Parkinson.

After now a 2 game sample after the Thursday night game, not at all happy with Kincaid’s lack of production.  Really felt like he would be top 3-4 with a chance at TE1 overall.

Didn't draft him, but CMAC in a keeper league.  I have a feeling he's going to miss most of the year.  And i wasn't able to get Mason

Derrick Henry better get his together.

Zay Flowers.  He is who I thought he was;  a 5-42yd WR

everyone on my team not named Mixon. Honestly I had more hope for Chase Brown thinking he should be good for 10+ points a game ppr, but its still early.

Based on what you likely spent on him and what we saw in week one, I’m not sure why your feelings would change at all

Terry Mclauren. On a positive note, this pick led me to a new drafting rule: Don’t draft WR’s that have rookie running QB’s throwing to them.

Cardinals took him out in week 1, Bills didn’t pass much in week 2. Better days coming

He’ll be fine. It was a case of a rookie QB that took off when his first read wasn’t there on a deep drop. After the hits he took, they’ll tweak the offense for quicker hitting plays & McLaurin will benefit.

Stay the course on both players! 👍

Bigger “disappointments” if we want to overreact…

tee Higgins, Chase, cmc if you didn’t read the tea leaves and didn’t handcuff early, Christian Watson as I think Reed showed he will be the top option, most bills pass catchers as it’s going to be frustrating figuring out from week to week, Tank Dell depending on draft capital won’t be reliable on a weekly basis, Michael Pittman I think some nerves are warranted, Puka I’m not sure why people were still picking him at the 12/13 turn with a known injury issue

Tee Higgins, dropped Blake Corum recently in same league. I also thought Triston "Lucky" Jackson, WR, Vikings would get some passes his way in Week 1; didn't play at all. Dropped him for Jordan Addison; who is now out for Week 2 and Higgins is doubtful. Somehow, I am 2-0; mostly due to my kicker and D/ST in Week 1.  We have 2 match ups weekly; Higgins got me 0 and I think Corum started and got 0 also. Anthony Richardson helped me Week 1 a lot too at QB.

I wish I started my new pick up RB-Bucky Irving over Jaylen Wright. Ray Davis is my other RB, haven't started him yet. Hoping for a big game for Mahomes and Kelce; that league is also 2 QB start and TE count as WR.

I didn't see Ezekiel getting the carries and looking better

You did or you didn’t? If you didn’t, then I don’t understand. If you did, I don’t think it was enough of a disparity to feel bamboozled

Chris Olave started the season with the 2nd worst fantasy game of his career...

The guys I'd be worried about are:

Tyreek: that Tua injury is going to hurt Tyreek investors the most because at least with Tua, you can drop him.  With Reek, investors are going to start him all season and he's going to very, very inconsistent.

Marvin Harrison: I get it.  He's a rookie, but great receivers don't come out and stink - first game or not.  And, yeah, I've been questioning the greatness of MHJ all the way back in December, but if he can't just line up against a guy and get open, he becomes Michael Gallup.  And then to add insult to injury, there was the next gen stat calling him out as the slowest receiver in week 1.  If he has another bad game, he needs to be glued to the bench.

I bought into the Tua hype, but did draft him as my second QB. Of course my starter is heading towards Bustville too in Richardson.

And trading for Ja'Maar Chase as a keeper has not been great yet, but schedule looks enticing coming up.

Jeez, overreact much - not sure what you were expecting?  For a QB who had grand total of 4 starts before this season, sitting at 4th in QB fantasy points (better than LJax, Mahomes, Burrow, Stroud, Dak, Purdy) is hardly a bust.

Biggest non-injury related bust so far has to be Kelce.  I know he was expected to fall off some this year, but he’s been invisible.

Outside of Isiah Likely in week 1, TE has pretty much been 💩

It’s really strange how the te slot has dried up so far,  I don’t watch the game, so I’m asking, does it look like the defense is targeting removing the te out of the game, or does it appear that offensive are simply looking away from them?

Not sure if I saw it on TV, or read it, but whatever the source was, it said that in week 1 2024, the number of TD passes was half of the week 1 total from 2023.

Jason Whitlock talked about this on his show yesterday I think it was.

First two weeks of the season starting in 2019, overall TD passes, to anyone, WR, TE, RB, etc.

2019- 105

2020- 110

2021- 110

2022- 105

2023- 86

2024-  69

So if anyone remembers this was the trend last season as well. This season, it's gotten considerably worse.

I think it's just a sign of the times. We've just come out of quite possibly the greatest era for QBs we have ever seen.

Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, will all be 1st ballot HOF.

Think about the 2nd and 3rd tier QBs of the era, Rivers, Eli, Ryan, Romo, Stafford, Cam...   That line up right there would have dominated in many eras.

The talent just simply isn't as good

A couple of factors (in addition to QB talent): (1) watered down training camps and no pre-season reps (2) maybe defenses are finally catching up and figuring out how to deal with all the recent rule changes that favored the passing game.

In my keeper league, I'm fine.  No real complaints.  My initial keepers were Stroud, J. Taylor, R. White, J. Chase, & C. Watson.  I had no plans on starting Watson, so I expected him to be my WR3 or preferably, my WR4.  Through trades, I got the #1 pick and took Barkley.  With my normal pick, #7, I took Burrow as my 2nd QB (2 QB league), then took Rashee Rice, Evan Engram, then Trevor Lawrence, Chris Godwin, & finally JSN.  At that point, I felt fine and just took rookies the rest of the way, taking (Dowdle, Benson, Corum, Odunze, Penix, and Tracy.  Hopefully one or two pan out as a long term keeper.  If they don't, no biggie.  I did make a trade after the draft though.  Because Burrow and Lawrence had the same bye week, I traded Lawrence for Mayfield.  Worked out pretty well.  I started 3 RB's W1 with Mayfield & Stroud, and Godwin & Rice at WR... led the league in scoring with 160 points.  W2, I started Chase instead of White, and was 3rd in the league at 142 and sitting at 2-0.  I have 4 WR's I'm comfortable starting and 3 RB's... I only need to start 5 of the 7.  I have 3 QB's that I'm good with so my only issue is TE.  As long as Engram is ok, I'll be ok.

In a different league, I went with the old, 'eh, let's see what happens' approach.  I wanted to target guys I haven't had the last couple years.  I took B. Hall @ #5, then Pacheco in R2.  Then followed that up with Collins, Nabers, Walker, and Higgins.  I felt pretty comfortable with those 6.  I mean, obviously injuries are an issue now, but at the time and pre-injury, I was fine them.  Still fine with them if they come back before it's too late, LOL.  Got A. Cooper, B. Rob, JSN, & McConkey over the next few picks and then just got guys.  Took Jonnu Smith with my last pick as my lone TE.  Took Jordan Love as my lone QB.  I'm not disappointed with any pick really.  Currently 0-2 in that league, but 4th in scoring.  A bit of bad luck with injuries and crap, but I have no issues with the players I drafted.

In my office league, I usually take bigger risks because it's an 8-team league and it's not one I particularly try to kill it.  I'm currently 1-1 and 3rd in overall scoring.  Because it's an 8-team league, we start 2 QB's, mine are Stroud, Daniels, C. Williams, and Rodgers.  We start 2 RB's, 2 WR's, and 1 Flex, so I took Breece Hall at #6 overall, then Jefferson @ #11.  After taking Stroud, I took Achane, Waddle, Nabers, Walker, & J. Williams.  After going 3 QB's in a row, I took some shots with guys I was very low on in case I was wrong... Z. White and T. Spears.  In this league, we don't have an IR spots, so I've already cut White and Spears.

Can't say I have any disappointments really.  Just bad luck with a few injuries.  It happens.
