30th anniversary: ER debuts (9.19.1994)…

Recommended Posts

One of the best shows in the 90s and early 2000s…  The show lasted 15 seasons (which was a little too long), but it was a stalwart on NBC on Thursday nights after the two hour comedy block…

If I am not mistaken it was the debut episode where Garret Morris was an difficult patient and nurse said she was going to take his temperature via rectum and the scene played out with his bare ass black ass with a large feather sticking out of his ass.

I actually remember that night, just because the show happened to be on TV while we were doing other things. Good times, being young.

Their best episode, IMO, was season one episode 19:  Love's Labor Lost

No love for the 40th anniversary of E/R?

I liked that show as well...  Elliot Gould is pretty good in everything he is in...

Of course you have Clooney and Mary McDonnell as well being in both E/R and ER...

They produced a lot of great episodes over the years. I'm not a big fan of Michael Raparport, but the episode he was in where he was dying, like over 4 hours, I thought was incredible.  That one and the one where Omar Epps...beeper goes off in the ER(don't want to spoil for @edjr or @TBayXXXVII)when they are looking for him really stuck with me.

I didn't watch every episode, but did they ever solve the mystery of what "ER" meant? 🤔

Boy did you miss out.  This one time, guy came in, wasn't feeling well at all.  Well, they fixed him right up.

You said it.  If memory serves, Noel Wiley was in that one. 🤔

This really challenges suspension of disbelief.
