Business decisions??

I doubt Adams is really hurt. I think he finally snapped & said he wants out. Wondering if the trade talk becomes reality & neither side wants an injury to ruin a deal

Gardner Minshew is going to remain the starting quarterback. There had been a non-commitment from the Head Coach about the starting QB this week, but after he talked with the team, he announced they are sticking with Minshew. The inmates are running the asylum, haha. Actually probably smart to listen to the team.

Cleveland def anyone?

Both these defenses should be decent streamers. O/U at 36.5.

Surprised Adams didn't demand a trade in the off-season. He can't possibly be shocked by their 2-2 record. Some though he might demand a trade before last year. At this point in his career - it's not about money, it's about contending for a title.

maaaannnn I would love to see the lions bring him in. Imagine Jamo and Adams on the outside and Amon Ra in the slot. They could use laporta to block and be the greatest show on turf part 2

Waiting for Rodgers to demand a  trade of Wilson and Saleh for Adams.

He probably already made that demand.  And it's a preferred landing spot for Adams apparently so Adams to the Jets is strong possibility.

If anyone watched wide recievers on Netflix this should come as no surprise. Once the raiders bailed on carr u could tell adams wanted out and he just played for himself last year. I’m sure the jets reuniting with Rodgers is his preferred destination but I’m assuming they have the cap space with Wilson and hall on rookie deals still. My guess and jmho is he doesn’t play until the nov 4 trade deadline when he’s dealt and the raiders I’ve read are asking for a a 2nd rd and compensation ie Wilson prob in that deal. Get the popcorn ready

yeah, he and Carr are best buds from college.

when Carr got moved, I figured it was only a matter of time til Adams bailed too.

A 2nd rd & Wilson ... for a 31 yo Wr ?   I'd be surprised if the Jets agree to that.

It would destroy everyone's fantasy value, except their RB's.  I don't envision the Lions throwing the ball enough to make any one of the 4 of them viable on a weekly basis.  Through 4 weeks, you had 2 weeks where between St. Brown and Williams, one was great and the other stunk... like single digits.  In the other 2, St. Brown was great and Williams was really good... in all 4, LaPorta has been "meh".  You add in Adams, it's a given that 2 of the 4 would be very disappointing... and it would change every week.  That said, I think LaPorta gets the worst of it.

NFL-wise, I'd agree with you.

I think the Jets are the only real option in that group..

  • Jalen Hurts isn't good enough to get Brown, Smith, AND Goedert involved right now.  Adding Adams and his $80M contract into the mix is just wasteful spending.  Neither Brown or Smith are going to miss much more time, there's no need to make a decision for this.
  • The Chiefs would need help from the Browns to get cap relief for $22M if they want Cooper.... Adams plus $35M (for at least 1 year and how much more this year from a division opponent would basically require Pat Mahomes to be involved in the deal.  LOL
  • I don't think Chargers have any interest in adding over $80M to their roster for 2+ years for a guy who won't be happy there.
  • The Jets would probably be all in.

Saints are also a desired team for Adams given his relationship with Carr.

That makes a LOT of sense.... as does Pittsburgh (to go with your other post).

As an Adams owner I hope it’s not the Jets.  He needs to go somewhere with a decent QB.

I'd say Jets/Rodgers would be the landing spot with the most FF value for Adams, especially right away.

Steelers makes sense. They have Pickens for deep, and Roman Wilson for slot.... but they need a possession Wr. Sorry Van Jefferson/Calvin Austin... yall suck and the Steelers know it. That's why they were interested in Aiyuk. They also have plenty of '25 draft picks to spare.

And for my next prediction in this saga…

The next time we see Adams, he’ll be in a NFC uniform. (Commanders? 🤔)

Me to... I think Mike Williams is just as talented if not better ... Rodgers will have weapons... Mike Williams got hurt a lot due to the young style of Herbert slinging it

Neither the JETS nor the SAINTS need an old overpriced WR.

STEELERS do, however they should have just kept Dionte Johnson, but they didn't and that was a mistake.

As an owner of Adams in one league and Wilson in another, I'm not overly excited.

How could you not ? his FF value is rock bottom, and was low even when he was playing for the Raiders, now he's on a playoff contender with his Hall of Fame BF QB ?

As an Adams owner last 2 seasons, this is only good news.  Rogers is the King of the 50/50 balls, back shoulder passes, and trusting his WRs to make a play, perfect for Adams skill set, get the Popcorn.

Why? Another big name receiver will draw some attention away from Wilson.

Agreed,   Biggest loser is Lazard, second Wilson.
