Yeah he was taken out by Mahomes after Mahomes threw a pick.  Mahomes took Rice's knee out trying to make a tackle.

Downgraded to out.  I'd guess he's going to be out awhile.

Same.  Needed Rice after Swift woke up this week against me after doing nothing all year.

Wonder if the Chiefs will shop for a WR?

Davante Adams, Amari Cooper, someone else ?

You gotta know Reid, Kelce, & Mahomes would love to be the only team to 3peat

I think Kadarious is still out there.

That probably means it's too swollen to get a good scan, but here's hoping the young reckless driver is alright.

Please just be hyperextended!  Good thing is that his foot didn't appear to be firmly planted on the ground when he got hit.

I don’t think the injury looked as bad as people are making it out to be, personally. Like you said, he didn’t have much pressure on his knee because his foot was just making contact with the ground and didn’t appear to be planted. Didn’t look like that bad of a hyperextension imo..

May not be that bad actually.  My guess is that the swelling was so bad, it clouded the MRI and they couldn't see any damage that may be there.  At that point, you wait for the swelling to go down and do another MRI and go from there.  If there's no tear, then it may be a bone bruise which are very painful and tough to deal with, especially if it's the knee cap.  The plus to that is you only have to wait for it to heal on its own.  No surgery will be required or even physical therapy.  Just wait... something like 4 to 6 weeks.

That sounds like the best case scenario. Which is certainly a lot better than a torn ACL but still not good for fantasy football purposes.

Of course the flipside is the swelling is so bad because the knee is absolutely shredded. I certainly hope not.

Just have to wait and see.

It's a shame because he was really starting to blossom

I have Rice in my big money league (of course), but I fully expect him to be out for the year.  I only "hope" he isn't.

This doctor gives a pretty darn good breakdown of the possibilities.

Yeah, that's pretty much how you have to look at it I think.

Anything you get out of him beyond this point is gravy.

I just hope it's nothing too long term

Rashee is done for the year..... very unfortunate for KC Chiefs 3rd straight Super Bowl hopes and us fantasy footballers loaded up on Rahsee as an amazing WR2 and WR3 so far this season.

At least all those haters who said he would be suspended this year can rest easy.....

Had no idea until you mentioned it. She's probably been stealing since the day she could crawl.
