His military service was marked by dedication and skill, and he eventually became captain. While stationed in Germany, he formed a band and began to nurture his passion for music. RIP to one of the few country artists I have a lot of appreciation for. The Highwaymen are a staggering fusion of legends that I will never tire of listening to.
