These right here are why the board hates you guys. But I’m done. I’m not about to argue with pieces of focking trash. When ur life ends, you’ll answer for it. Or until you see me. Til then, enjoy the pathetic sh1t show you call your life

The people that have actually pulled dead bodies out are heroes.  I just don’t believe you’re one of them.  But please share your videos and point out when you make an appearance.  I’ve been watching a bunch of first hand accounts and have shared some here so would love to see more.

TIA

What specifically about FEMA and the federal response to Hurricane Helene have they lied about?

MAYBE they care, but you cannot say The Regime is making them the priority.

Of course they are as they do whenever something like this occurs.

Ok, I thought you meant "in general".  I have no idea of what either said about FEMA or anything going on down there, when politicians talk, I generally assume everything they're saying is a lie and I'm right 99.9% of the time.  That said, if your source is CNN, it's not really valid.  I don't see really see them as a credible source as they're no different than The Enquirer.

It is fact checking and there can only be one set of facts.

You may have your opinion on what the facts mean, but not with the facts themselves.

If you believe the federal government is deliberately trying not to help people in this situation, or even worse, deliberately trying to do harm to them, then I don’t believe you’re a serious person.

If you believe that the federal government is helping Lebanon, or Ukraine, or undocumented immigrants, or whatever else you want to mention that you disapprove of, at the expense of or as an alternative to helping the victims of this storm, then you are not a serious person.

CNN doesn't "fact check", they're a propaganda organization.  They take things out of context and/or misinterpret the intent of the message (generally on purpose [good people on both sides... bloodbath, as examples]), so their "facts", aren't "facts".  Sorry you trust a crap organization.  That's a you problem.

I don't think the Democrats in the federal government care at all about the citizens in this country that don't see things their way.  They're the worst group of people to ever walk this planet.

Is there a limit to issues the Feds can handle? Does the world stop?

Here are people talking about response to this

These are people who actually responsible for millions of people, across multiple states, across political parties.

Here’s the thing too…there will be mistakes, people will not be immediately helped, people will be frustrated. That’s normal.

What is taken out of context about this quote from Trump:

“I’ll be there shortly, but don’t like the reports that I’m getting about the Federal Government, and the Democrat Governor of the State, going out of their way to not help people in Republican areas.”

I was talking about his source.  Secondly, any time a Democrat is talking, they have no credibility.  They are a bunch of repugnant pieces of trash who's statements hold ZERO weight.  There's no such thing as a respectable Democrat politician or media member.

Entire department dipsh1t. It’s funny how NOONE has cell service there (hence why I was radio silent for close to a week) yet this retard says “post a link!” When literally the ONLY things we have right now are word of mouth. You got ANY “proof” from FEMA they aren’t doing the things they’re accused of besides “lOoK aT tHeIr WeBsItE”? Nope 🤣 Yet I got FAR more evidence that they’re doing what they’re being said to do

When were you there and when did you leave?

You don’t need cell service to use your camera.

And lol that you think the “entire state sheriffs department” (which I’m pretty sure isn’t even a thing) threatened to arrest FEMA.  Good lord you’re dumb.

Trump saying it was a "bloodbath" was a fact. CNN gave this comment context and explained what Trump claims was his intent (video at link)

First, I wouldn't doubt it, those people over there are scum bags.  But no... I think they take statements, take them out of context and then use that as their foundation for "fact checking".  They're not an honest organization and hence, they're statements have no merit so anything they say, has no value.

I understand the point loosely and it is important to get context. I don’t distrust CNN as you do for the most part.

This is very cut and dry however. Trump is simply lying about this.

Governor Roy coming in hot.  Unlike Biden/Harris, this is a Dem I’ve actually voted for.

Interesting that he disparages X.  This is exactly the type of situation Twitter was envisioned for.  Without it, we would know very little of the situation.  The MSM would downplay it, because bad news is not good for their incumbent Democrat masters.  FEMA and the Feds might not feel the same urgency as they do now.

See, this is why you and CNN are leftist hacks.  That headline is wishy washy, and implies that, well, Trump SAYS it was about the auto industry, but ya know...

Had it been a Harris quote, their headline would have been "Factcheck FALSE:  "Bloodbath" comment was about auto industry."

I guess in the past few days the story must have changed from “NC state police” (which doesn’t exist) to mystery “sheriffs departments”

Digby/ @F1erce might be the easiest mark for fake news I’ve ever seen

Sorry, but that name difference is weak sauce.  Arizona doesn't have "state police" either, it is the "Department of Public Safety (DPS)".  People refer to them as State Police all the time.  :dunno:

Disagree.  Although I’m not sure what exactly you mean by the MSM would downplay “it.”  Because you’re generally a reasonable person, I’m going to assume by “it” you mean the overall destruction from the hurricane. It’s a natural disaster, so any sane person should know it’s no party’s fault and thus there is not really any bad for Dems that can come from the MSM covering it, which they have been (albeit maybe off to a slower start due to literally not being able to get there).  If anything it gives them more ammo on “climate change.”  Although now the coverage has seemingly shifted to covering the misinformation coming from social media, so hopefully that isn’t the “it” you were referring to.

Besides, the MSM loves covering bad news.  Remember Covid and daily trackers of how many cases and deaths?  I’m sure you’ll say they only did that because they could blame it on Trump, yet IIRC pretty sure even Fox News had those trackers for awhile.

I just shared this thread on the Twitter thread which references Helene.  The issue isn’t stories being shared on X, the issue is LIES being INCENTIVIZED by X, due to users getting paid based on engagement.

I'm not gonna doubt what f1erce is going through but there is a lot of misinformation being spread all over social media and some of it comes from foreign actors.
