josh wiley 30 Posted October 14, 2024 What are the biggest changes in win loss outcomes you’ve experienced with stat corrections? I’m down 3.42 in a one pt pot league so don’t think I have a snowballs chance in hell, but just curious

Vikings4ever 538 Posted October 14, 2024 Been a while, but I remember a 5, 6 point swing where a lateral got stat corrected into a TD pass. But, for all intents and purposes, you've lost. Most corrections are changing who sacks are awarded to. Once in a while a sack will be given to or taken away from a team. It's very rare that there's any major changes. polecatt 472 Posted October 14, 2024 I had one several years ago, I think it was 2015, that was 8 pts... I don't know if it was specifically stat corrections or a glitch in the platform. The D/ST would often have their scores change by 1-3 pts in the middle of the week. It had something to do with the yards allowed and return yards points. There were a couple of different ways it would flip but it usually was just a very minimal amount of points, but one week, they all flipped to the max and it was 8 pts. plasma george 62 Posted October 14, 2024 Swift may get a +1, 2nd half he got a toss right from Caleeb, and I swear it was forward, not backward. Stat Corrections | NFL Fantasy
TBayXXXVII 2,401 Posted October 14, 2024 Outside of a QB being given or not given a TD because there may have been a mistake with a pass or handoff on these dump off's/pitches, I don't imagine anything being fixed much more than a point, from a RB/WR/TE perspective. Meaning, a reception being given or taken away (as in the scenario I just noted). Basically, if it's a RB/WR/TE, I can see really only 1 point. For a QB, could be 7+. easilyscan 723 Posted October 14, 2024 I was in the FF playoffs in 2009. My opponent had Kurt Warner as his QB. Week 15 stat change Postby Steelersfan » Wed Dec 23, 2009 4:06 pm Anquan Boldin's five-yard touchdown at the end of Arizona's game from Sunday, originally scored as a reception from Kurt Warner, has been changed by the Elias Sports Bureau to a rushing score, according to ESPN.com. Our View: You have to wonder whether the head of the Elias Sports Bureau lost a close fantasy matchup to a Warner owner. All jokes aside, this news is sure to make for some very irate owners, as the change, and loss of points for Warner, could very well alter a number of matchups that were thought to be final as of Monday night. To the owners who will end up losing out on a trip to their fantasy championship because of this, our best advice is not to dwell too much of the "what ifs" and to think of all the other things in your life you have to be thankful for. Fanball I would have lost by a couple points had they not made the stat change.

Other than that, it's like 1 point because they changed a reception to a rush or vice versa for any other position. I guess a sack could be credited mistakenly for a tackle (or vice versa). Depending on your league scoring, that could be 1 or 2 points... maybe more if you use IDP's and the wrong guy was credited. Also, that ball was behind the line, so it should've been a run. They got that right.
