Dynasty Alert: Jonathon Brooks practice window opening

Recommended Posts

This is probably more of a reduction in Chuba's value than an indication that Brooks is going to be a late season savior, but let's say he's back for week 9, and a full go week 10.

Barring a Hubbard injury, I doubt he'll be able to win the job outright given how well Chuba has looked, so probably a watch list player for now.

If you own Hubbard, might want to shop to see what one might receive in return.

He's on the waiver wire in my league for some reason I have to pick him up

He's been on my IR since the draft, but that is mostly because I didn't think Hubbard would be as good as he has been.

When he eventually comes off, I'll probably just drop him.  My other consideration is to drop Mostert which is definitely another option, but there's probably going to be someone out there better than both of them by the time I need to cross that bridge.

I'm all in. Of course, I have him cheap under a 4 year contract.

Probably going to see his first action next weekend on a snap count against the league's top rushing defense.

He'll probably go off for 160 and 2 TDs because why not.

My guess is he gets a couple of carries.  I doubt he wants to play anyway or else he'd have been back a month ago.

I drafted Brooks specifically for the FF playoffs because I figured by that time the Panthers would be out of it, and would give Brooks a full workload late in the season, to see what they have for next year.

But of course the Panthers do the most Panthers thing possible, and sign Hubbard to a fat extension.

Fock me, where they drafted him I was sure he’d get in there pretty early and play often
