cmh6476 905 Posted October 22 what a week for receivers to go down Some guys that are on the wire in my leagues (not all available in all of them) based on most points to date, percent rostered, trending with most recent adds, and a couple backups for teams with guys going down (in no particular order)... 1. Calvin Ridley 2. Khalil Shakir 3. Allen Lazard 4. DeMario Douglas 5. Gabe Davis 6. Xavier Legette 7. Bub Means 8. Ricky Pearsall 9. Rashod Bateman 10. Alec Pierce 11. Jalen Nailor 12. Tre Tucker 13. Romeo Doubs 14. Jordan Whittingham 15. Tyler Lockett 16. Tutu Atwell 17. Jakobi Myers 18. Rome Odunze 19. Christian Watson 20. DeAndre Hopkins 21. Keon Coleman 22. Jalen Tolbert Who are the guys you think have potential on this list if any
Law 233 Posted October 22 On that list, I like Ridley (they paid him, eventually they will figure out they should use him), Shakir is up and down as Allen spreads it around but he's produced, Douglas had a bad week but apparently he was sick and there's no need to tell anyone that, I was high high on Bateman even before tonight's big effort, Doubs is good but there are so many receivers in GB you have to wonder which one which week, Lockett should jump up if Metcalf is out, Meyers is the #1 in LV (right?), and C Watson (see Doubs). easilyscan 692 Posted October 22 With the rookie QB doing pretty well the last 2 weeks, Douglas looks intriguing. Unfortunately, the upcoming schedule is brutal. 8 NYJ (32nd) Sun 12:00 PM 383.61 - - - - - - - - - 9 @Ten (28th) 12:00 PM 398.46 - - - - - - - - - 10 @Chi (22nd) 12:00 PM 394.70 - - - - - - - - - 11 LAR (23rd) 12:00 PM 405.92 - - - - - - - - - 12 @Mia (31st) 12:00 PM 396.56 - - - - - - - - - 13 Ind (10th) 12:00 PM 411.54 - - - - - - - - -
HOOKIN' BULL 2 Posted October 22 I just lost Godwin & picked up Jauan Jennings 49ers... since Aiyuk is out for season -- also like Douglas NE Pats if available
kcBlitzkrieg 29 Posted October 22 Shakir and Doubs on that list. Tillman not on the list. Jennings not on the list, but if available.
kilroy69 1,145 Posted October 22 I like Tolbert. He has had more productive games than not this year and is locked in as the number 2 in dallas. Last game against the lions they shitt the bed but they will bounce back.
weepaws 2,963 Posted October 22 Pearshall, Samuel hurt, Ayaik out, Kittle now has a problem.
Drogon 10 Posted October 22 Jalen McMillan. Mayfield loves to sling it and needs somebody out there other than Otton. Sterling Shepard is there as well.

I have noticed that when the backup QB goes in, there is sometimes one player who was a backup that they develop a repoire with on the backup team who ends up being fantasy relevant while that player is at QB. and if they make enough of an impact they end up staying in their role if and when the starter returns

weepaws 2,963 Posted October 22 Shepherd should be a target. Has a Mayfield owner, reading that Evans is out for a little while,Godwin is done, it stinks. Now I need a Qb , probably

weepaws 2,963 Posted October 22 I think Ridley is boring, I’m not so sure how long Bateman will play until he has another hangnail. Pearshall I like, because of injuries to both Aiyuk and Kittle, And Samuel. Yea I’ll take Shepherd.

BufordT 402 Posted October 23 In a situation like this I would go with most talented upside WR with the best QB. Rome Odunze would be my pick.

Ray_T 713 Posted October 23 and Hopkins now if available. I think hes likely a possible starter now that he is in KC. likely not this week. Not enough time to learn the offense, but he may be good for a TD in the red zone on one or two special plays. my prediciton, 40-50 yards with possibly a TD on very limited use. weepaws 2,963 Posted October 23 Great move for Hopkins.
SaintsInDome2006 211 Posted October 23 2. Khalil Shakir 3. Allen Lazard 4. DeMario Douglas 9. Rashod Bateman 13. Romeo Doubs 15. Tyler Lockett 20. DeAndre Hopkins 21. Keon Coleman ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I like the above. Also if available Jennings, McMillan. JNS, Jeudy, Tillman. Try trading for Waddle, Tyreek Hill if the owner isn't awake to Tua returning. I also like Batemen as well as hopkins. but all of these guys have something going for them. surprised all would actually be on the wire. I would have thought Keon Coleman would have been rostered. 1

Einstein's Dog 20 Posted October 24 There are slight differences between ppr and standard. Also if you're looking ROS or just week 8. Hopkins -excellent ROS.. J Jennings another ROS if available.. .D Douglas - looks like a #1 for NE and looks like they will let it fly (why not?)... you didn't mention C Tillman but similar to Douglas looks like a new #1 - looks like an interesting play now with Winston firing it all over the yard.... I think K Shakir in ppr would be an excellent option too,- I think the Bills offense is going to be a lot better going forward.

Shepard has been a solid slot WR for years as long as he stays healthy. McMillan plays outside, Palmer took Evans spot outside, then Shepard took Godwins spot. Shepard also played with Mayfield in college so they have history. I’ll take my chances with him over a rookie & a career backup
mgs316 14 Posted October 24 Most of those mentioned above are available but Keenan Allen just hit the waiver wire, looking to upgrade Mooney. With Williams starting to cook, Allen a better upside than Mooney?

With Williams starting to cook, Allen a better upside than Mooney? mooney has been at the WR1/2 cusp for a while here. last week was an off week and week 1 was a gong show for the whole offense as the team was learning to play together. I'd toss out week 1 from my analysis as that's not a true indicator of where the team is at. and that brings him almost to the WR1/WR2 border. Allen should be rostered too but I'm not sure Mooney is the guy you wanna be dropping to pick him up. Hes been pretty good this year.

easilyscan 692 Posted October 28 If anyone is still scouring the WW for a WR week 9, Jacksonville might be a good place to start. Christian Kirk out for the year, the rookie Thomas injured and allegedly out 2 to 4 weeks, & Gabe Davis also injured. Jrok just posted an update.
