I read an interesting book years ago about the Civil War. One of the chapters describes how the The union and the confederacy would lay down their arms and play baseball on Sundays and then kill each other on the battlefield. Hence the name Yankees for the north. It’s amazing how much our beloved country has become so sensitive about our past. And it’s sad and only going to get worse.
